Me and my friends new to Australia we convinced him to come home with us and share a meal! Abdul qadir was a genius. One of the greatest leg spinner of all time. And he was also the life of the dressing room entertaining the team with his wit & humour. Qadir's bowling statistics do not do justice to his genius. Had he been playing cricket now with the modern DRS system , where badsman can be given out on the front foot as well , Qadir would have gotten as many wicket as the great Shane warne. "Imran khan"

When I was growing up when you got got someone out with a good leggie it was always called an "Abdul". Also you always pretended to be him by spinning the ball up in front of the batsman then hiding it away before bowling. He started the art of modern day spin bowling and will be greatly missed.
