I don't know why people don't recognize him when it comes to the list of greatest cricketers of all time . In tests people talk about lara, dravid, tendulkar , ponting but they forget to say his name. He was also a cricketer of that era, of bowlers like McGrath, bond, akhtar, brett lee, warne, akram, and so on. Still he has an average of more than 57 in 134 tests. More than 28000 runs in international cricket followed by 700 dismissals. Oh please he was a champion of that era. Indian guys need to stop taking this stance less seriously it harming them in long run because they get pretty bad at back foot as they keep on playing thats it gets really hard for them to play short balls & wickets like England Australia south Africa . unlike foreign players who are best at backfoot .hardik pandya is backfoot player ' hes killing it.its not always necessary to develop a stance we should choose the one what is more comfortable (i.e steve Smith). plus if you're a good at back foot you're likely to play well against most of swing deliveries because you got time &can play close to the body unlike front foot where you have to commit forward
