From starting cold water therapy with Lumi I took my first wild dips just last week in Bassenthwaite adn Buttermere. Love the lakes and Keswick. I will keep watch for other places you recommend in the lakes now. Sadly 49 weeks until we are back there.

@@WildSwimmingwithChristine Buttermere was beautiful, it shelves quickly so easy to get in and out and was so clear. Definitely worth walking a little further around to the wooded section as it is much quieter. Bassenthwaite was murky after lots of rain and was a really wet and windy day, but the water was lovely. Thank you for sharing all your swims. I will work through your old video and make a 'bucket' list of swims. All the best.

Hi Christine I like the golden day out ! Have you visited the Clerk and Bishop at the Swan Hotel which is not far from your swim spot ? The Clerk is easy but I think I only have been to the Bishop once a long time ago.
