The cats are hilarious to watch and hear about. Our kitty is a handful of mischief just like yours. He loves to get under chairs and beds and claw his way around upside down. If you tell him no about something he sulks. He waits till you arent paying attention anymore and suddenly does the thing you told him not to. He thinks my oxygen tubing is kitty licorice. We had to put cable conduit over it! Then he gives the best cuddles and talky purrs and is the best rodent patrol/eliminator we could ever wish for. Well worth having. Lol. Also enjoying all the yarn.

It sure was nice for me to have my internet back since Hurrican Helene, we had to evacuate, and lost all our stuff bc of storm surge here in Florida. my yarn in 4 big plastic totes didn't make it. I love the yarnroom. Wish I had one my self!! Just sitting and look at all the yarn, so amazing!! If I were you I would have put the brown high shelf between the windows next to the chair and have the green one where the brown shelf is nofv. THEN if needed then you kan have some small white shelfs like billys from Ikea between the windows where the green one stands now, and fit in even more yarn. AND on the green shelf you could have a tv. ;) If you would not need it for yarn of course...giggle. Lovely room, so envy of you and all your yarn!

My kitty would have climbed the bags then up the yarn and claimed the space between the shelvs and ceiling as his own! You and your mom are blessed to have such a relationship to work together like this. I've noticed one thing with color. Does mom have bright colors in another room? Looks like mostly earth tones to me. Everyone has particular colors they gravitate to. That's just something I noticed. Just curious about that. Also wondering if the yarn from the shed and closet were done yet? Oh now I see brighter colors. That's what I get for commenting before the end of video lol.

lots of work, those latte cakes are probably better elsewhere and I would put yarn that is in plastic bags on the top of the shelf because of the dust and it would be easier to clean just the plastic bags.

Just a suggestion. It would help so much if you put a table, like a folding table, not something permanent, in the room to sort the yarn on before you put it on the shelves. Not all of it at once, but certain types that go together. Dumping it all on the floor in a pile makes me itch, sorry. Maybe I have OCD. I am not a professional, but I have done a lot of organizing in homes at and a warehouse with tiny Christmas ornaments and supplies. Imagine a warehouse full of Christmas ornaments. Plus we were shipping them out and setting up bunches for craft shows at the same time. Things had to stay somewhat organized or we had problems.
