I no longer have this tool, but a friend’s father made me a turning/pressing tool out of a long wooden dowel. He planed off opposite sides to create a flat surface for stability and for pressing open the seams. He added a hook on one end for turning, similar to the fast turn brand concept.

@@MxDomestic I once had something similar framed but I went to a frame shop. They highly recommended tiny spacers to allow the fabric/quilt to breathe. It came out great. Also if you ever mat a piece make sure to sign it with your signature and date. I did that before the final framing. This way it is professional. And after all “you” are the artist. Painters are not the only ones who get to sign their work.😉 I sign everything, especially if it is going up on the wall (like you did) or if it’s a gift or your selling the piece. Quilts are art❗️❗️❗️🥰
