Widowed at 33, met my husband when he moved in next door to me!!! We have been together nearly 30 years. I’m so glad I took the leap of faith as it was hard at the time. I had a lot of pressure from in laws and friends who all thought they had a say in how my life should be.

I'm so happy for you! That is too young of an age to be alone. So glad you were able to find someone to spend the rest of your life with. I became a widow at 65. My husband was the same age. We were married for 45 years. Little did I know I would meet someone when I was just about 67. We've been together for almost 6 years now. I am 72 and he is 70. I tease him all the time about having a younger man. Like Candace said, "You never what life is going to bring you." So true.

I love this video. I’m just starting a very similar relationship. We met on a dating site, but haven’t met in person as yet. He had to go overseas for a project. We communicate by texting. I was a bit wary at first it might be a scammer. I over came that . Now we communicate by Skype. He is almost half way on his contract so will be home soon for 2 weeks. Your story has inspired me to continue and shows that love can grow through communication. Thank you. Stay happy. ❤️

A delightful video. I’m a widow also. I was lonely one night about two years after my husband passed away and for some reason it struck me to look at online dating sites. This was 2022. I wish I had the sweet experience you had. The two responses I received that lead to a couple months of texting were con men. It was easy to discern this when they related their cash-strapped catastrophe. The only reason I’m sharing this is to let more ladies know how online dating has gotten tricky. Your experience is what we dream of! Your story makes me smile.

Wow I really needed to hear that today what you said. At the end of your video you're wondering if that little thought could mean something to us. Yes it did I just want to answer you that. You never know what life has in store for you around the corner and I just now turned 67 August 1 and I've been a somewhat isolated hermit I work at a food restaurant and I'm in really good shape I'm to everybody very pretty for my age I just gotta get on out there and try to meet some people.

I lost my husband last year. I’m 69 years old. I’ll be 70 November. I don’t see myself every dating or meeting anyone. I don’t like being alone. It’s very lonely, but I miss my husband so much. We were together 40 years.

Be opened to life. Don't build walls around yourself emotionally so that you do not get hurt. Stay opened to new possibilities

Yes, I lost my husband of nearly 50 years last September. It is hard but I am trying to build some kind of life, realising that everything has now changed. I do not want another husband and luckily have some good friends. I know it will never be the same but he would want me to carry on and be happy. Sending love.❤️

What a lovely story. My mother was a widow at 24. She left her small town in Georgia. Traveled through Europe and the went to the University of Florida and studied interior design. She met my father (on a blind date) and had two girls. She celebrated her 92th birthday earlier this month. Not many women in the 60s had babies in their mid-30s. At least their first child. Only now do I truly appreciate her bravery. You were brave. Online dating 20 years ago. I’m sure your daughters look at you the same way. Love your perspective on aging and vitality. And a KZbin star! I’m struggling a little bit (re aging) but know great things are around the bend.

You have nice positive energy to bring good things into your life. My mom, now 94, also had two kids in her mid-30's in the 1960's (I believe her mom was similar age when she was born too). Yours and mine, great ladies ahead of their time😉. Be well.
