Theming should be given more credit as a valuable part of these packs. The appeal of a lot of these animals comes from the environments they adapted to, meaning that theme packs can add to an animal’s appeal.

Everyone hates on the Arctic pack,and all time watching you these years i was making plans if this ever comes to console i wanna build a Christmas and Viking winter zoo so the Arctic pack will be the first that i get 😀 On another hand looking forward to your videos when the game comes on PS5, and actually trying to learn something, i have said it before you are the best in my opinion when it comes to this game 😀

Watching this. I got the packs originally that had the animals i liked the most. (Reptiles And stuff like that) So never had gotten the Twilight or Europe pack. Then stop playing a bit and then the Arid, Eurasia and Tropicals had came out but wanted to wait till they value went down because 2024 economy is not great. Especially here in Australia. But was also missing the Deluxe which i only wanted for komodo, and then the artic pack which still dont care much for. But After seeing this video, i have used your link and really like the site. Ive used 2ga and as an australian. The real price isnt listed as its in USD but i really liked how it showed AUD straight up. And it was real easy to use. I cant get all remaining dlc, but ill pick up the main ones i want, so Thanks for the video and the new knowledge of this site. Keep up the hard work.

Nice to hear the official Rudi Ranking. I've had the game and DLC for PC for a year or so now, but it's always been laggy for me. My machine isn't the greatest. I'm a majority console player anyways, so I'm really excited to play on my "native" system.

Not a console player, but I just recently started playing PZ which I bought the deluxe version. My first DLC was Arid, and recently, I purchased the Twilight, and next, I want to get the Europe pack. Without knowing what is good or bad, but depending on the trailers, both Twilight and Europe captured my interest. I think, it has a lot of features that are unique and will make the zoo more customisable based on my personal interest. Now, seeing your recommendation, I know that I made the right choice! BTW, I like the Arid because there's a sand cat!

For me it just depends what kind of zoo I’m building. Australia was my most recent purchase cause I’m making a desert zoo. I really do like the theming for it!

I'm pretty sure the deluxe edition on console will come with the wetlands pack and south east asia pack not just the pre-order animals

My mom explained to me that what is happening is that Frontier will support Planet Zoo one more time before dropping development for the PC version to focus on console and she knows nothing about the gaming community.

i think the next three dlcs i will buy are, the wetlands, savannha, and eurasian animal packs, im more focused on getting the anikmals packs as of right now, and those are the ones i think have the best selection of species

I brought every dlc up until 2022 when my pc crapped itself and couldn't run the game anymore which is when I also stopped playing. Had over 500 hours into the game since launch. I've been mainly playing ps5 since I didn't have the money for a new gaming pc so I'm happy it's come to console.. I got the ultimate edition regardless of dlc ratings because I got have every animal.

On the x box store they show pictures of the lynx and the beaver for the ultimate edition, I may be reading to far into it but I really hope those are the first dlc’s to be available after launch, I do hope they release them in a timely manner because there is so much I would love to use but have to wait for it to release like the fake rocks from the aquatic pack or the raccoons.

Thank you Rudi. It is clear for me now that I should get the ultimate edition for my series X. In the end I'll spend more when buying just the ones that I want, so, better to get them all asap. This season pass seems like a good deal. Helping Frontier on the short term, saving a bit if money, and getting everything. You said it is possible to get the game for console through IG?

I would put every DLC into the good/great part because every DLC gives us a bigger variety of animals (and I thought that's what Planet Zoo is all about...to have a lot of animals to build for). I wouldn't buy the deluxe DLC for the full 12€ ... but luckily there are solutions to avoid this (and to be honest, I'm happy to have all the DLCs, even the deluxe pack).

The point of the Deluxe Pack is the OST and wallpapers, like many games have. The 3 animals were just thrown in as a bonus. In other words, if you want the OST buy the Deluxe Pack instead.

I have been hoping that this game would get added on to console for a long while so I'm so happy that it finally is. I bought zoo tycoon (the newest one) thinking it was planet zoo

I also have no plans to get this version as I prefer PC and I’m good with the PC version. I also plan to buy the final DLC when it comes out.

I got the ultimate edition as my gaming pc is old and stopped running the game properly back in 2022 and it had so much lag ect. Just haven't had the money to get a new pc or upgrade it so I've just been a console gamer.

My rankings; Any pack without a career scenario can not go above "it's ok." None of the packs are "great." All the animal packs are "boring." The Arctic Pack gets too much hate, it's "boring" but not a "skip it." Deluxe Edition is the only "skip it," unless you really want pygmy hippos.

Thing is, if I understood it right, it will take a long a** time for all DLC‘s to be released on console, up to a year. So I don’t really know what to do, because I want some mods, but i know that I won’t play a year long through, but that’s just me
