You just had Drach on your channel talking about how overrated the Bismarck is...

I know, right? What a disappointing load of bollocks. Dark Seas or Simon Whistler could have done better.

Just saying, nobody is going to take this video seriously if they see you calling a submarine a "Battleship" in the title.

They refer to warships in the first minute of the video.

An interesting review. I do take exception to the title of the video. It does not discuss only “battleships” but “warships” more generally. A battleship is a very particular, and now obsolete, form of warship.

Really - the Admiral Kuznetsov - it's more of a symbol of failure. The Yamato was just a waste of steel.

If you ever get the chance the USS Nautilus is on display, open for tours, in Groton CT .

If we are talking sheer destructive firepower, no ship or submarine tops the Ohio class SSBNs with the potential to carry 24 Trident II missiles.

poorly done. just a few issues - You had Missouri on the list twice (10 & 2) - Putting Kuznetsov on the list is just asking to be laughed at - Putting Kuznetsov above Nimitz is absolutely hilarious

Don’t be mean! It leans heavily on naval history it retains the ability of the dreadnaught class and is superb at making smoke…..

@@robertpatrick3350 The relationship between Kuznetzov and her friendly seagoing tug buddy is also rather sweet.

In WW2 any German warship larger than a destroyer was a waste of steel and sailors.

USS Monitor and CSS Merrimack belong on this list. They weren't the first ironclads built, but they were the first ironclads to see combat and in so doing showed that 99% of the worlds warships were obsolete. Putting Bismark and Yamato above Enterprise is absolutely stupid. Yamato did not sink a single ship, Bismark sank one, Enterprise sank 71.

Nuclear-powered warships DO need to refuel and resupply.

Exactly what significant action did any Iowa class Battleship ever take part in? We can wait...

Not many of these ships did, and if that's the criterion, where's HMS Warspite?

You really should have run this script by Drach or Admiral Chris. Really.

The Iowa and Missouri were in the same class therefore you wasted a slot there which could have gone to Warspite

These top ten videos don't do the channel credit. Unless you say what the parameters are they are pretty meaningless.

I think that this video should have looked at ships that took warships that influenced naval Technics in battle. So the russian ships did they use nuclear power before USA. HMS Dreadnought did have the greatest impact on the design of warship. Leading eventually to Iowa US ships UK King George 5th warships. Where are the submarines from WW1 & WW2. This would have made more sense. So hint hint a video on the above suggestion? Please.

Not sure the title of this video is correct. I wouldn’t class Submarines or Aircraft Carriers as Battleships
