Another easy way to get lots of nanites for me was to find a planet (lucky?) with the whispering eggs everywhere and Hungering Tendrils (plants?) Just mine the larval cores and kill the giant worms that pop up around the hungering tendrils. The Fleshy Rope from the worms and the larval cores are worth 50 nanites each in the refiner. Tons of ez nanites.

@@MrBishop077 not really. both paths are doable. the artemis path seemed to have more story to it (with a revelation i wasnt expecting) and i got all 16 glyphs needed to use portals. normally you'd have to find traveller graves and extract the glyphs from them. The atlas path didnt give much in the way of answers about the games lore (understandable since it seemed to be the original story path from when the game had it's shaky release). it did provide crafting recipes needed to craft a piece of exosuit tech i got at the end of the artemis path.

Hey, thanks for the videos, they are a great help indeed! Just one thing, when I get to the Multitool outpost you showed in the video, it's not the alien version. It's a small pistol, even though it's also an S Rank, it has much less slots and it looks much less cool! I have multiplayer disabled so, what am I doing wrong?

when getting the new multitool, it's also a good idea to store any of the upgrades and other modules that the new tool lack. Mostly any S-class upgrade, missing weapon module (scatter blaster, for instance, cause it's my most used weapon) terrain manipulator, advance mining beam, and optimal mining beam (if the new tool lacks these)

If you're afraid of "ruining" your save you can just make a creative save, go in there and just experiment with stuff, I personally dislike spoiling myself the recipes so since I haven't played in a few updates I wanted to see what the new stuff was about before making any "bad" decisions or wasting time and whatnot so I just popped a survival save on max difficulty (this game isn't really that hard lol) and played for a bit, then whenever I'm comfortable I can just go back to my main save whenever. But anyway as this is a space sim and most of the fun comes from the exploration feel free to just do whatever or follow the main story if you can't decide, and if after finishing it you don't know what to do you could always upgrade your ships to S-Class, get the most upgrades, upgrade your ship's hyperdrive so you can explore the Indium (Blue-class) systems, craft the exovehicles, expand your base, etc., my goals for now are just upgrading my suit to max inventory and technology spaces and upgrading hyperdrive till I can get to Indium systems, have fun and may the chromatic metal be with you.

Aight so the only real problem I have is finding a planet where I can farm oxygen well, I'd probably have to farm for an hour to get a full 9999 stack, and I been looking for better planets but didn't find any, what should I do?

Positron ejector = your friend. It will take about 3 minutes to get a full stack.

@@HawkesGaming I'm using the Positron Ejector but it really still takes too long, so I'm thinking either it's the planet or how I'm shooting but idk

@@erestiana7773 Only other thing I can think of if its not your planet is you might be doing it in deep water which sucks. Most oxygen planet are kind of in that area that isn't too shallow or deep. So not far right off shore near a ton of islands or a main land. Isolated islands in the middle of the oceans suck also.

Not sure when they did it but none of the stations sell Cobalt anymore so you can't flip it
