I love that you reuse whatever organizers you have on hand- like an old container or filer or over the chair hanger- I do that too because I simply don’t have the budget or the patience to go out and get better ones. I like your realistic videos 😊😊
@fromjeniawithlove25062 жыл бұрын
Thanks! 1 or 2 nice containers might not seem like a lot, but normally you could use a dozen of them and that's when it adds up to hundreds of dollars! I can;t afford that either..😊

tip - you can put those grocery plastic bags in an old empty tissue box. Put them in one at a time and then pull them out one at a time. It is also handy to keep one in the car like that.

Love to watch you clean. You give me motivation! Old ziplock boxes are great for store bags if you fold them into each other like tissues. I ended up with so many I keep a box full and take them back to recycle at the store. 😅 OMG! I wash my ziplocks too! 😂😂😂

Hi Stormi! Thanks! Glad you enjoy my videos! Hahaha, ziplock bags are reusable (and expensive for some). Thanks for the tip for keeping store bags! I had too mane at that moment , but I also reuse them as I can! Happy Thanksgiving!

Can I suggest to you. To put a soft cloth on your frying pan surface that is to protect the coating if is a non stick pan. When you are storing away. I do know IKEA sells Pot Protector. Should be good to use on non stick pans and pots. Temporary I am using a soft cloth too. Nice video👏

I love your accent! Just a hint for doing a fresh bead of Silicone, put some maskingtape on each side with the size of your area showing. Cut your tube at an angle. When you run the Silicone get against your area as close as possible. When you're done, lick your finger & run along the fresh bead a few inches at a time & wipe off your finger. Repeat that till your all the way around it. Let it dry for 14 hours, then remove the tape. (Worked at a glass shop for over 20 years) 😉🥰😊

Something to consider in the pan cabinet: when you have your pans in their place, you can always keep the lid on the pan. That eliminates the need to store the lids elsewhere. If there are two pans nestled together just keep the appropriate lid on the top most pan.
@fromjeniawithlove25062 жыл бұрын
Thanks! That is something I just thought of doing since someone else commented that. Makes more sense!!

Think you could declutter some pots and pans-you have a lot. But if you need/use them then it’s ok. Kitchens are hardest to organize in my opinion.

You are pretty handy, great job on the sink. I would cut the cube further so you can make wider caulk. Also you don't know the chemical in the caulk, use gloves to wipe it and wet your finger first. I think because it will touch food, the hooks you made for mesuring cups, is nice, but should be varnished.
@fromjeniawithlove25062 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Yes, I always see people use their finger with that caulk, but you are right! Use gloves just in case.😊

Tip: Now that you have cleaned the cabinet, put contact paper on the shelves so future stains will be on the contact paper. Just replace the contact paper if it stains or you want to change the look inside your cabinets. Also helps to prevent damage to your shelves.

Does your cat have a litter box? I use plastic grocery bags for litter disposal. Take a small room size trash can, line the trash can with grocery bags one on top of the other. This is my son’s job. After scooping, simply tie up 3 bags and dispose. Using only 1 bag results in constant disasters. Also, if you immediately layer the plastic bags inside each other after shopping, you can store them much more compactly this way. Do an experiment. Take those containers of bags and try layering them. See if they take up less space. Disclaimers: I take my friends’ grocery bags, since I use reusable grocery bags. Also, I can not let my cats outside because I live next to an urban national park and cats are coyote food here.

I don't see the reason for all the plastic bags, it would make sense to have a bag for life and take them with you to the supermarket each time you go, help the environment.

You've got a mismatched sink with a countertop. Think of all the damage and moldy situation you've already got. That is a health risk to your family. You can't get rid of the purpose of the sink but I'd get a new one. You waste time and energy on the caulking, but a new sink and laminate countertop is not that expensive. It's your health, think about it.
