Woodman’s in Kenosha, WI is large because Illinois has a tax on food which Wisconsin does not. Therefore, lots of people from northern Illinois shop at Woodman’s.

You stopped at my favorite place, I-80 Truck Stop! Spend the night and sometimes two nights watching all the trucks come in at night and checking out the lights inside the mall! The museum is also very interesting….When I had the SH you toured in FL, I always stayed there because it was so large. Didn’t know the Corp required reservations now….Wells purchased the ice cream plant in my wife’s home town of Dunkirk NY, too funny….You were close to a lot of Lewis & Clark sites that I have visited over the years!

Thought of you while there. You probably had a toy truck collection like the one they did.
@timsmith76252 жыл бұрын
@@FromShetoMe too poor to have a collection as dad died young, mom raised five kids while working, so only a few toy cars back then. Drove fire trucks as a volunteer and then four big motorhomes, just loved the history that’s in the museum.

Worked two summer seasons at an Army Corp of Engineers park and they do indeed have great campgrounds. Also nice that there are law enforcement rangers that patrol the campgrounds and can handle the rowdy campers.

Madison resident here.. "The self-propelled robots will track on-shelf availability of products, verify prices and deliver exacting location data for more than 100,000 items at each Woodman’s location. "(Photo courtesy of Badger Technologies). Compliments of a google search. And here I thought it was a disinfecting machine as it appeared in 2020 during the onset of the pandemic. Who knew🤷♀ Always enjoy your videos, Deb. Already looking forward to the next one. 🚌 ✌

Okay, just added Army Corps of Engineer camping to my list of where to look. When I first moved to Missoula, Mt. I wound up living in the KOA all Summer due to lack of rentals, it was a nice one and had a little petting zoo in 1990. Now I know what I saw growing in Texas by the corn, it was soybeans, I saw them here in your video. I like that Ford Ontour, I was keeping an eye out for that too before I bought this Coachmen Crossfit. I want to go in that supermarket and have added it to my to do list, I love shopping in grocery stores I've never been in, love doing it in Europe too. Looking forward to the bike ride next Friday. Have a good weekend!

Greetings from Iowa! Looks you’ve slowed down as you approached Iowa. Will have to keep a couple of this week’s stops in mind for the future- Truck museum and Ice Cream City! We arrived at the Winnebago factory service center last night and signed in for a walk-in appt. We stayed in 5 states in 5 nights this week on our way- NY, PA, OH, IN, and IA. That makes a total of 46 states slept in the RV. Managed to stop at a Frank Lloyd Wright house outside Buffalo, the Lucy & Desi Museum in NY, A Christmas Story House again in Cleveland, the RV/MH Museum in Elkhart, IN, and the newish Indiana Dunes NP. We spent much of the last couple days on US 6 and thought of you. Looks like Fall is falling in Iowa. It is supposed get down to 19°F on Monday night. No swimming for us. Brrr🥶

How often do you use the roof top AC? Will you have one on your new van? Thanks!
@FromShetoMe2 жыл бұрын
We only use it when desperate. It is horribly noisy! I can't say enough bad things about it. We would like our new van to have a 12 volt AC. There are a couple on the market that look good. One is by Dometic, and the other is by Nomadic Cooling. We want to be able to run off batteries, which will be much bigger in new rig.

Debbie, it’s been a good few years. Thinking I must depart. It’s tough to say goodbye but sometimes love for ……… peanut butter wins. Skippy? Excited for Skippy PB? 😂.
