Homemade Belt Sander - Wood Made - Knife Maker - Grinder

Homemade Belt Sander Grinder 2*72" - I built this belt grinder out of wood.
Knife Making.
It is a fairly simple project to accomplish even for those with few tools and skills.
It Works very well
The engine is 750 watts and has been reused from a water pump.

An excellent all-wood build. For woodworkers yet to use WHDF (Waterproof high-density fibreboard) it is surprisingly stable, easy to work, and incredibly strong. This is a very clever design, using WHDF to its best advantage. Top job, well done. Cheers from Michael Australia.

I've never seen what looks lime green MDF, is this some special type? Great project, and no welding required.

Yes, it is MDF water repellent.it's harder and tougher. Thank you.

Very nice execution, however I have doubts it can withstand grinding metal for a long time. Also in case something comes loose or breaks it can get very dangerous.

Very nice build. One of the best designs I have seen for a wood build. Did you have trouble with the skate wheels holding up. The bearings rather. I built one a bit before you did from metal. One of two videos on my channel, but I could not keep bearings in them. I did and do use mine a lot. Man they are far more handy than one would think. I could not imagine not having it around. I finally bought a real set of wheels for it. My drive wheel is made of oak. But It is a smooth little machine. I am wanting to do another with a tilt a lot like the house made one.
