haha - Interestingly enough there is a lot of video editing as I lose my thought processes many times looking at camera angles while trying to explain what exactly it is I'm doing. And filming my conclusions takes many outtakes to perform.

My question is why do the 5 lug conversion? Do you just want a captive rotor delete? It's kind of costly when you'll also need new set of wheels and tires x 4?? For me, I'll just go with the captive rotor delete by just changing the front hub/wheel bearing assembly and the rotors...job done.

Side suggestion when I did my ball joint on my cb7. I got that universal ball joint kit from autozone. & yes, the included fittings weren't quite right, I ended up using the right sized deep sockets to "fill in the holes" where I didn't have adapters. Just a cheap suggestion out to people if they got enough sockets. Otherwise I highly advise this honda specific kit because you don't have to think or if you're new & don't know. Stay dirty out there my friends ✌

The whole front knuckle assembly from an 03 Acura CL will swap onto a CB Accord, yes.

Sir @randombuilds6862 I noticed you pulled knuckles off a 98-02 Accord. Do you recon the 4 lug set up (4 cyl hubs) would work on the CB/CD platform? Really don't wanna change from 4 lug as I already had bought wheels for my ride

Since I want to do a 5 lug swap on my cb7 with the same 98-99 accord rotors. Do you know if the RL Brake calipers will fit with the V6 accord rotors? Or will I need to get the odyssey rotors ?

No - this is a normal rotor over hub setup that was installed.

I believe you would need to change it in order to convert it to a 5 lug hub over rotor conversion. The v6 94-97 Accord still had 4 lug setups if I can recall last yard visit.

I am in the process of sourcing the v6 ex front knuckles now, as I had already done the ex rear disk swap. Just need the prelude hubs, Mazda axle nuts, etc. Thank you for your wealth of knowledge and willingness to help others trying to do these projects for themselves. You've a great way of explaining your process, your videos are straight to the point, with detailed and easy to understand instructions. Btw, how are the SPC camber arms and ball joints working for you? I just ordered the same rear arms and front ball joints from them for my 97' accord and was wondering how it was working out with your setup. (Like you, I am not running crazy camber or going for a stanced looked) will be running 17x8 tl type-s wheels for a nice street/daily setu p, as it is the same setup on my 06' Accord and works great! It needs a camber kit as well and I was thinking about getting a k-tuned F/R camber kit for it and hope it is the same quality or better than the SPC I will be running on the 97'.

If its a sedan/coupe - yes. The wagon will need EX coupe/sedan knuckles with the smaller diameter axle for the BB6 hubs.

Hey Mr rebuilds me again could you link me with the cv axle but you used I thought I got the same one but it did not fit it’s smaller than the OEM

You will need a 90-93 Driver Side Half Shaft and its cv axle. The automatic half shaft will not work.

My question is, will my OEM half shaft and cv axles work with the v6's hubs? I grabbed the S5 ex knuckles from a 99' auto accord at the yard, but I wasn't sure if my oe 97' manual axles would work with the 99' v6 auto hubs..?

@@Zer0_Shift_K I don't think there will be an issue with your halfshafts and cv joints using the '99 Accord V6 front knuckles. I had to change mine to manual (on driver side) since I did a manual transmission conversion though.

@@randomrebuilds Thanks for the quick reply! I really appreciate all of the information you've shared on this project. Just wanted to be sure in case I ran into any issues when putting my manual cv in the v6's auto hub. I remember when getting new hubs/bearings for my 06' Accord manual that the auto hubs/bearings wouldn't work with the manual cv's and vice versa. I thought maybe there would be a difference in the splines/teeth on the 97' cv axles that might prevent it from inserting into the v6 hub. Thanks again for all of your help!

I'm in the middle of doing the front as I type this, and i'm having trouble with my c v axle on the driver's side fitting in to the v6 hub. I have a 97' 5-speed manual so I thought the axles would fit but it seems it's too long. Do I need to swap out my half shaft and driver side axle even though I'm already manual? Sorry for all of the questions.. 😅
