Beginning to think I should sell mine before I even finish getting it on the road, but I won't. They do seem to be problematic, mine has not been agreeable about coming out of a long sleep. Good luck.

It's a 44 year old bike on standard bores, so I was expecting this sooner or later. I think the piston must have been a fairly sloppy fit to even be capable of gouging the cylinder.
