Thanks so much for this video!! Make me feel like I can do this to my 66 SS myself. I bought a kit from Summit so hopefully that will help things go smoothly. Doing all 4 wheels.

Easy Brian, bolts out, bolts in, few tips, if you have a drill press, you can drill out the bolt hole on the steering arm and not have to buy one, I think it was 7/16" needed to be 1/2". since you are replacing front brake lines, might as well replace all the way to the rear, since you are doing those also. Did you notice how clean my under carriage is, before tearing down, get a bottle of Purple Power and a pressure washer and clean up, just a few tips. Take your time also.

Wow, so great of you to reply. Thanks. One question on the brake lines, I was led to believe you have to pretty much take the body off the car to install new brake lines because they run between the body and frame of the car? I have not crawled under the car to see. I know the brake kit I bought (rightstuff detailing) also has a brake line kit for my exact brake kit and car. Thoughts? Also I do have a drill press :-)

I just wanted to ask you a question I got the same conversion kit as you for my 67 Chevelle and my spindle isn't quite fitting the upper ball joint it doesn't sit flush with the new disc brake spindle? Can you help me out there

After watching this video, I called drum a hub, and other items called wrong, One was about using a spring compressor when removing the spindle on the coil spring, wrong, with the shock still attached the spring can not kick out.
