Can you show how to do the driver side? I notice there are a few more things on the door, i.e. the truck button and the rare view mirror adjustment thing.

Removal of the mirror adjustment switch and the trunk release is nothing more than unplugging the electrical connectors. I hope you were successful in your replacement.

Have you replaced the rear deck speakers in that Saturn or similar vehicle? One of those speakers have now gone out in my 2007 Aura XE.

I have to ask, why replace a subpar factory speaker with another subpar factory speaker? I realize it's an easier install but there are better speakers for about the same cost.

Because we aren't installing a competition quality system. Thousands of watts worth of Precision Power amps pushing a pair of Rockford Fosgate 15" woofers in a tuned box, adjustable crossovers to tailor the sound and huge lightning capacitors to keep it all going without killing the components or the charging system. Infinity Kappa Series component speakers in the front and rear, high end Sony, Pioneer, or Kenwood head units. I have done it all. This is my wife's car, she isn't into that. She wants some music to listen to while getting from point A to point B, she got it and she is happy.

@@partsman4444 I get what you are saying. I had no desire to go nuts on a replacement set of speakers either. I found a better set of speakers with low RMS and no additional amp etc. To each his own. I thought the original system in my 2007 Aura XE sounded good. I don't have a factory sub. I was extremely disappointed that my door speakers went bad. Never had that happen in a car before and I've owned cars since the mid-70's. Seems to be a widespread problem in 2006 - 2007 GM sedans but I've seen complaints about GM trucks and Tahoes having similar issues.
