yes! It's Called a Flying cement job. I cam from the HS (Northampton Area in PA) and was taught by the guy who invented this series (Don Rohn) we could do these in our sleep. The flying cement has the chin and underhook just like the regular cement job except you take your leg (same leg as the hand you use for the underhook) and kick your leg hooking it around the back of their hamstring. While kicking drop to the same hip you are holding the head with (KEEP IT TIGHT) and kick opponent over.

Ikr, as long as I start standing with no gi and I'm fresh what I've learned from wrestling goes along way. Yeah my jujitsu needs to improve jujitsu, but if I'm trying to just win , (not learn) and I'm fresh , I think I'm better at no gi jujitsu than wrestling, ONLY because of the shorter explosive powerful movements required vs the reletnless pace of wrestling. I can get on top of someone and load my energy up like a alligator, or same thing when standing , I can wait and oxygenate before exploding.
@chaosdweller
@chaosdweller 4 жыл бұрын
I'm just now starting to not rely on it, and actually work on learning jujitsu more. It's actually hurt my jujitsu progress lol, cause I like winning and being in control so much , it becomes my crutch and I end up missing out on important jujitsu lessons, but I've recently started to change this always gotta win pychology, ...in order to get better.

Wrestling is the shit. I wrestled in high school but did no grappling for 15 years. Decided to try BJJ and as whitebelt, my old wrestling muclse memory enables me to get dominant position with ease over some very experienced guys. It's also been easy to learn all the arm chokes. They transfer from wrestling quite easily. The leg chokes/locks and fighting off your back is a different beast though. That shit is hard.
