With all the hatred of different races going on in our country at present, it’s really heartwarming to see your lad working there. Let’s hope Mr.L, doesn’t give Josh too much of a hard time. Also, it makes me happy to see your lad working as opposed to what a lot of the youth get up to these days. Sign of good parents. 🙂

Josh has it sorted because he has a sense of humour and you need that in a kitchen. I also learned these ... clean as you go - consistency - buy for one sell for three - don't pick it up unless you have somewhere to put it down - never put both hands in your pockets... and smile - catering is fun when you are in control.

After years and years of never being able to properly make chapatis ------ During lockdown I only had plain flour, so i thought ach if it works it works if not who cares. I added some salt to plain flour, warm water slowly and then kneaded for no more than 5 mins. Left to sit for an hour. Never rose lol but WOW!! I rolled and used my recently purchased chapati pan to make the most delicious and airy chapatis ever. WHY DID NO-ONE EVER TELL ME IT WAS SO SIMPLE?
