Both AutoZone and oreillys say it’s the 1330 not the 1310. Is that right?I have the 2011

I checked the link that you sent me and saying that that’s the incorrect part for my 2009 Toyota Tacoma

Before attempting to extract the U-Joints, I found spraying any penetrating oil on those needle bearing caps, makes a huge difference when pressing them out and then back in.

Thanks for watching and supporting the channel George! I use the Valvoline Multi-Vehicle High Temperature Red, it's the same one I have on my Amazon page. I do use it for all the U-Joints and ball joints

Great video! Why did you change your u joints? Did you have any vibrations ? I have a vibrational issue with my 06 Tacoma, 125 k miles and was thinking its a bad u joint. Thanks for your time and effort.

I have a question KFo. I took my 2011 Tacoma to Import Auto to replace a bad U-Joint. Up to now I’m hearing a grinding noise once in a while. What do you think is causing that on and off cracking noise when I accelerate. Do I just need to grease the ujoint? Thanks for your time.

Are the front U joints are the same part number as the back ones?

They're different. I have the links in description/pinned comment

Hello! 2008 Tacoma sport 264k miles shuddering and vibrating under seat whenever i hit 2k rpm or hard acceleration but only does this towards the end of a gear or higher rpm,, not at all at low rpm or from a start,,, i was sure it was my front ujoint as i saw the bearing dust stripe on my undercarriage but the shop said no they think its transmission. Ive read alot that a flush fixed this problem and u joints. Do you think i should change it out and this might work and if so do i HAVE to change filter? or does his sound like ujoint? One day i did hear i tiny squeak from ubder the truck when i accelerated further making me think its a u joint. BUT i got the truck at 100k miles and is now 264k and ive NEVER changed the fluid yet (i know dont hate me),, any suggestions? Great channel btw, open to anyone who wants to help thanks!

I'm getting conflicting reports of using the Spicer 5-1330-1X and you're using 5-1310-1x u joints....whats the difference?
@KFloTacoma3 жыл бұрын
1330 is not greaseable. 1310 is greaseable

@@KFloTacoma You seem to use greaseable parts whenever you can. What's the advantage? Why not use non-greaseable u-joints, and ball joints?
@MorganMcGinnis2 жыл бұрын
@@swj2556 with greaseable, youre able to re-grease/service them to prolong their life and effectiveness....
