If the story is true, that frontier employee is missing a few fries. Btw, to much emphasis on him being in the military. Has nothing to do with the story. If he was a plumber it wouldn't change anything.

If they close the door, you're late. But if his story is true, and she asked for a bribe, then yeah, that was wrong.

Frontier charged me $25 dollars just because I couldn't print out my ticket. They're so ghetto and so is Spirit. On Spirit Airlines the middle seat fell off when I stood up. The people around were laughing. There's no one that answers the phone when You have a problem, they just text you. Bad Customer Service on Spirit and Frontier.

That's not the point. 😒 The gate agent tried to get him to pay a bribe to let him on the flight, and another agent informed him that he was getting a "discount" for being in the military. That's not how airlines work. If you are late, you are Sadly Out of Luck (SOL) and you will have to make other arrangements.

This is because the aircraft needs to go through numerous checks and a “weight-and-balance” calculation before they can prepare for departure. This takes a lot of time, and if any late passengers were to be allowed through, the FAA-imposed law is that the flight will need to go through the entire process again to calculate the new weight-and-balance to accommodate for the extra passengers/luggage. All this will delay the flight and prevent an on-time departure. The longer the flight stays on the ground, the more costs it incurs as they are required to depart by a certain time, or pay a penalty, or worse, have the flight cancelled entirely.

Frontier airline didn't demand the extra money.A ramp Employee did.. but this idiot arrived at the ramp after boarding was completed and admits the door was closed . SOOO... 200 + people had already completed boarding and were already sitting on the plane ready to go.... Ooooooh my.... them All those people must have come extra early???? What does he want ?
