I’m really interested to see the removed oil settle out. Well now you know there’s good oil in there. Peace of mind is worth the effort. You might need to change it a few more times to get most of the water out. Maybe you can tip it up on its end and drain it out of the fill plug. Be safe!

They all get water in them. Doesn't matter how you stack them or how you store it. Humidity and water vapor get in through the vent and condense into the gear oil. Just keep an eye on it and change when needed. Also, you have to pump out as much as you possibly can or it will just get milky again as soon as you add new oil and run it.

just changed the gear oil in my rc2060 and it wasnt milky like that. 1st time ive changed it since having the shredder.... but i do keep it stored in a shipping container when not in use. Getting that old oil out is a p.i.t.a. for sure.

Grab it from the front end with a loader and hold the shredder standing upright. Then take out the drain nut on the back of the gearbox.
