Really impressed it's melodic and there is singing instead of screaming. Much better than a lot of Nu metal. But all the younger bands are so obsessed with way too much kick drum! Sounds like a baseball card in bicycle spokes! Lol. Less kickdrum, vocals higher in the mix, a little more punch to the guitars, and slow it down just enough to let the riffs breathe.....and now we're talking! These guys definitely have some chops. Love to see where the music takes them.😊 (Their new album cover is superbly cool!)

​@@kylenewberry8598Sorry but every little piece of a band make them most important!!! Yes it's great when you have great vocals/lead & back guitar!/drums and to have the bass fill the gaps of the drums and guitars as well as vocals. Bands do run into problems trying to equalize all those parts. But, when they are able fix their mix *LIVE* then the rest falls into place.

​@@kylenewberry8598 As a guitarist, I still disagree, if I can't hear every piece of the band clearly, it's a bad mix. No one piece of the band should drown out another. The one exception would be a guitar solo since it's obviously the focus point of that part of a song, but still, not to where it completely drowns out everything else.

I agree, a can't stand it when a piece of a band is drowned out like that. Vocals are one of the worst offenders. If I can't make out the words of the singer because of a bad mix, why even bother having vocals? 🤷‍♂️

Drums are TOO busy. It's so much unnecessary filling. It's like it's HIS show & everyone else is complimentary. In reality, it should be the opposite. I don't need to hear the drums infecting every verse with their mini solos/leads. Sounds like a desperate "notice ME" throughout the entire song. Walks all over everything. Yes. The levels are in poor priority/order. I would also shift all the drum tracks down in the freq spectrum. Too far to the right.
