Theft at both domestic and global levels using militarism and financial extortion. Unite liberals, independents and leftists to replace u$a's elites with the socialistic models of public ownership of utilities, core businesses; worker ownership of large corporations, expelling private monies from politics. Make reparations to correct a history of theft of domestic communities and nations u$a has exploited. I'm Canadian and so therefore have little f's to give about American politics...but I will say I thought Obama was one of the better presidents in this millennium. Sucks to see that the Republicans decided to be against everything Obama did ASAP. To me it really shows how bipartisan American politics has become and is getting worse every election. Please build your walls and we'll keep your citizens out when they can no longer live the "American dream".

I often wonder about how the presidency may or may not have been a pivotal moment for him in his personal development. He must have known and worked with some of those congresspeople that went all in on him for years prior to his presidency, only for many of them to essentially turn on him in a very adversarial way, likely rationalizing that none of it was _"personal"_ when politics is *very personal* - especially when every jab and jeer is public, it is not your hobby, but rather your _career_ and the way you earn your money, maintain your elite status and support your family.

Food for thought: Out of all the craziness entering 2009, I wish Obama's first goal could have been to reform Wall Street... A real Teddy Rosevelt approach where predatory investment tactics and tomfoolery with funds of the working middle class would not go unnoticed and if anything...real reform to unregulated markets and other weak points in the American economy's armor. No one was going to have an easy time with this presidential term in American history. Lots of "what ifs" thinking back... - What if John McCain was elected... Would the Dems have blocked Every initiative the opposing party proposed? - What if the $810 billion bail-out package Bush signed never passed before Obama's election? - What if Obama's "Positive & Transformative" agenda was more "Discipline & Evolve"?
