This appears to be much more devastating than the usual old age dementia experienced by many. It strikes younger people! These symptoms and behavior are so terrible and noticeable. At about age of mid 80s, hubby began developing.....the usual age~ related dementia. He is 16 years older and I am glad he is nearing 90.....to hopefully end this disease and rest in peace! I just can't imagine a younger person having the worse of dementia, this FTD.
