50 has accomplished a great deal in various avenues, but musically I don’t think he’s ever executed anything as masterfully as he did with this album. He had a couple of bangers on other albums, and some singles(+featuring), but this album was absolute insanity. He had Em in his corner, who helped thrust this diamond in the ruff into the spotlight, but 50’s prints were all over the masters and his raw story and hunger were unmistakable. The bars were abundant and poeticism, rich. One of my all time favorite albums, for sure.

"You'd think those two lifestyles: the life of an artist and the life of a tough street guy, wouldn't go together." This is the nature of what happens when poverty and municipal neglect become generational due to systemic issues that limit opportunity - you get geniuses who fall through the cracks of the system...and some who manage to grow up through them.
@frontroom2 жыл бұрын
Like how you explained that. Thanks for watching.

Although I already knew this, and agree with this, one thing this comment made me think on is how much further we may be progressed if the world wasn't so terrible, not just when it comes to the US, but the entire world. How many Genius's have fallen through the cracks? Its a sad reality.
