Taika and all the adult cast really really worked with the kids to make the press junckets work. Its the only time ive seen the main cast and director take such care with the well being of the children on the press tour. Holding the mic for the kids and lacing key people around them to help is refreshing and proud they took time away from their own egos for the childrens sakes. "Im so jetlagged and tired." I feel you lil man. But this is the start of your life now.

To be fair, the one who played Jojo is the only kid. Thomasin McKenzie is like 19. But yeah, he does really seem to be protecting them from the inevitable fate of the child actor.

I also think Taika does a really good job of not talking down to them because they’re much younger than he is. Child/teen actors are still professionals who work hard at what they do. It’s great to see adults in the industry treating Roman and Thomasin as people who are great at their jobs, which is what they are.

Don’t forget Archie, he’s the same age as Roman.

"Taika and Taika" - funnily enough, one of the Polish youtubers made brilliant video essay titled this way about Taika's dual approach to filmmaking - comedic and serious.

Thanks for posting! I would maybe include a note about Spoilers in the description since the one of the last questions deals with a specific scene.

0:01 😉 Thanks, glad you enjoyed it, was a fun chat, loved how well they all got along. I’m going to be posting a Spoiler-Free Q&A for KNIVES OUT w/writ-dir Rian Johnson either tonight or tomorrow night. Am editing it now.

Eggmanjames No, she received many nominations for another film she did in 2019.

@FrontRowFlynn3 жыл бұрын
Noooo. He was very funny, but seemed tired. He had done a lot of these appearances and press. His humor is unusual, hard to be on the spot to be funny, when you’re doing these over and over.

Yeah I dont wanna armchair diagnose but he seems to have neurodivergent traits to me, possibly adhd and might be autstic, (I have an autism diagnosis myself and really suspect I have adhd and want to get a diagnosis of that), that seems to contribute to how awkward he is in interviews and how he rambles, I know I can ramble and be VERY awkward in that way when I am put on the spot.
