If warm air front further becomes occluded front ....then how come it's written very cold air behind occupied front in the diagram . Is it because the relatively low pressure zone rises up and the air masses above polar region counteract infront if receding ch of air????

In warm fronts, warm air moves towards the cold air, but since the cold air is denser( heavier), it cannot dissipate the cold air. It rises along the cool air .However, unlike the the cold fronts, warm air rises gradually and travels a longer distance along the cold air mass,which acts like a gentler slope. So, warm air does not move the cold air that is along the surface. It simply moves towards the cold air as if it were a hill with gentle slope.

Indirectly your Qus becomes " WHY warm Air moves upward even they create LOW pressure on land and also there is less Temperature above in atmosphere and so cold Air lies there ? " So , Why Warm Air from land moves towards Cold Air in Atmosphere ?
@divyanshsingh87453 жыл бұрын
Ans - Density, Warm Air mass is NOT synonymous to Low Pressure BUT when the Warm Air left that place than Low Pressure get created , Not before that . and because of low Pressure , Denser and Cool Air from above comes down. and then we say that cool air from high pressure (HP) area above comes down to Low pressure(LP) Area. In other words, warm air mass is moving upwards towards cold air mass or u can say denser cold air mass is sinking down or you can say H.P to L.P in terms of Cold Air . Don't look in terms of warm air. Afterwards , " warm Air go upwards in atmosphere and interacts with cold air" and distributes its heat i.e. convection . So, it is this Vertical Movement of Air Mass in Upper Air Circulation which creates front thru frontogenesis (convergence of two air masses which is vertical movement of Air and NOT Horizontal.) . So Yes , Air moves from High pressure area to low pressure area in both its Vertical and Horizontal movement .

In fronts how warm air could move towards cold air because warm air means low pressure zone and cold air means high pressure zone ...... therefore how it is happening that air is moving from low pressure to High pressure zone .....?? Someone please clear it .
