Buy 4S Frost Legendary Memory(3s if you can afford it), Buy Friend Nemesis Chest, and a T0/T1 CDR Staff. Swap to using Isomorphic Arms at this point.

Buy all of your +1 cold Gear / +2/+4 Candles and +1 Cold/Passive/Spell/Minion Slates
Buy Exquisite Box (Empower is BIS, but if you can't afford get a cheap one)
Upgrade Staff and gear to T0 mods.
Once you get your T0 CDR staff and Exquisite Box etc. you can swap to the

you're not really self finding much gear for iris at that point except memories / relics, but i am using that filter myself. The late game one.

we cant get t0 affixes on non lv 100 gear anymore, whats the plan for the staff for example, i imagine buying a lv100 staff and then rolling for t1 spell level and cdr will be a huge pain

What modifiers actually affect the magus? I know minion dmg anything that says 'magus' in it, along with +1 cold spells. Does having something that gives +100% spell damage do anything for them?

If it's on the weapon and you are using isomorphic arms, yea it does.

You say "Buy 4S Frost Legendary Memory..." Is it really mandatory for playing frost iris? Currently its like 3.5k FE...

Kind of unfortunately. You are capped around 1bill dps without it, which makes T8 a struggle and not really worth doing. Everyone is just farming blacksail hard to try to get the memory, as it takes you from 1Bill dps to 15bill dps minimum instantly. And Memory is what is required to hit 500billion ofc.

Run t6 maps, unlock all t maps for that crystal and use drop rate pets if possible I use budget 15m dps build of this ice spirit and can farn t6
