I did enjoy your guide. It was really well done, but if i had to pick at one thing. It would be you not putting in any arena clips in and describing what you're doing. Would give a bit more insight instead of a dueling setting when your content is revolved around arenas.

Awesome guide. I was a little bit confused with the details on how to maximize glacial spike damage, but otherwise A+.

as many shattered bolts as possible pleb glacial spike allows you to get 1 more shattered bolt off + frost nova + pet nova (can either get a 4th bolt with flurry or ice nova) but I think it's best to just go with 3 + ice form and shatter with ice nova.

how do you get shatter effect from flurry? it doesn't freeze them down. Shatter is to frozen targets.

Hi! Awesome guide, but i have a question: How do i get my pet to cast the Nova? The Pet always seems to cast it by himself. It always goes on cooldown without me actually activating it. i have a macro from Xaryus video: #showtooltip Summon Water elemental /cast [nopet][target=pet, dead] Summon water elemental; petnova /petattack /dismount Maybe in english the names are wrong, i don't know the english names, but i play in german and there the names are correct. i just wrote english to show you the macro. What can i do?

Hey, a bit confused as a long time frost mage. Prior, the shatter-ability has always been defined what the state of that target was as the frostbolt was casted. By this i mean that if your target was frozen when frost bolt left you, it would shatter no matter if the frozen state remained when frost bolt hit. In the same way, if your frostbolt left you when target was not frozen, but frozen was applied during flight, it would not shatter. I see that you do alot of the latter: getting spells of and then landing a frozen to get a shatter. Has this been changed at any Point without me realizing it? Leveling my frost mage yesterday, it felt as if that old rule with frozen still applies. Very greatful for answer.

kuratorn1 you're exactly right, it was changed so that it now counts a shatter on a frozen target even if it was frozen after a frostbolt cast. Personally, I love this change.
