With the trappers frame have you ever seen a company make new ones at all?

do you know what the difference between the buckskin straps and the canvas padded straps editions of the pack are?

Cool pack, thanks for sharing. Love the idea of the state patch.

two leather dog collars of proper length work great as lashing straps for a pack like that

excellent idea!

Thanks for the demo - The Frost River web sit doesn't do a good job of showing the size of their packs, on the wearer.

Now that you've had it a year, any update?

I've always wanted one of these traditional packs, but the good ones are always really expensive lol looks like an awesome pack

I agree, shipping costs to Australia can be ridiculous. Sometimes the postage costs more than the item. I have cancelled orders when shipping costs have been factored in. Nice looking bag, hope it lives up to your expectations, enjoy.

A sudden increase in shipping cost is what caused me to stop buying anything from Best Made Co. The stuff already wasnt cheap but suddenly the ship cost flew up too. I was a pretty constant customer too.

Bob FromBrisbane Likewise when shipping to the U.S. I've seen some amazing products from Australia but the shipping costs kill the deal.

Hello from the US. I’m considering purchasing one of these packs. Your video has been very helpful. I subbed your channel. I am considering asking frost river to add lashing points to the bottom of the pack. What do you think?

Thanks Martin! This, the Benchmade 940 and the Fallkniven A1 were my bucket list trinity. I don't know where to go from here now I have them all!

There is a lot of nice gear out there. It should not be a problem to find something to spend the money on :)

So, many nostalgic childhood references in so little time (Labrynth & DBZ). I know what you mean regarding wanting something for soo long and pretending to be unbiased (that and not trying to giggle like a schoolgirl when you see it for the first time). I recently bought a RAT 1, which I've had my eye on for 2 years..flicked it open a few times...then bought another one. Doh! :s

Oh the Rat Knives... I sold my 2, it was a bit small inthe hand... but have just ordered a Rat 1 from Aussieknives... that action is one of the best. Also ordered another Strongarm - I foolishly sold mine in a moment of madness and instantly regretted it. Definitely both keepers.

You'll definitely like the RAT 1's handle size with your "large sized gloves, large sized glove hands." :P . Definitely like the strongarms well thought out sheath system. May have to do a follow up, follow up review on it?

+Bushcraft Tasmania hahah I reckon it will definitely ride again in videos. I'm planning on comparing it to the Mora Garberg which just arrived
