Expectations for Frost*'s next album are high. Every song on Day and Age is so unique, a really great album. ❤

could be a long time before it comes out, based on previous releases

@@iamrichlol In the SoundCloud podcast they used to put out before the album came out, Jem mentioned a fair number of songs that they recorded that didn’t end up in Day & Age. They said that they were working on Day & Age as well as another subsequent studio album to come out the following year because they didn’t want us to endure another long wait between albums. Initially it was supposed to be Others in 2020, Day & Age in 2021 and then another studio album this year though I’m pretty sure this new album is postponed due to all the drama with the Tour and 13 Winters DVD set being repeatedly delayed.

Poetry, can mean a lot of things. Toxicity? A bridge spanning a gap previously untenable? Great lines sometimes just need to sound good. haha

I miss the Milliontown virtuosity... It never got that good again imo. Vocals, lyrics, meh.. I hope the album will be better :)

For a time, I thought that Frost would not be able to do a better album than Milliontown. I was wrong : Falling Sattelites and Day and Age are much better in my opinion! I enjoyed the virtuosity of Milliontown a lot, but good songwriting paired with good production better stand the test of time as far as I am concerned.

After the first two amazing albums I personally felt that their music lacked a bit of "joy". The lyrical topics as well as their overall musical tone felt so serious, like middle aged men, struggling with family and society. And this is all totally fine and I'm happy if that's the music they want to create, but it's just not the music I personally want to listen to right now.
