A lot of people keep saying it was unlucky for some of the players to fight Leo in Losers so soon, or certain players made misinputs, and whatnot, but this is really downplaying just how amazing this tournament win was for Leo. This is the first major tournament with Joker's nerfs in effect, for one, which we can see has a huge impact on Joker's gameplay, but he still won. Getting utterly demolished early on by a player who isn't even in the top 8 (no shade to Prodigy- his match with Leo was INSANE and I hope we get to see a lot more of him) and getting sent to Losers so early, where he ends up having to face almost all of the best players in the world in succession. Samsora, Nairo, Tea, Zackray, Tweek, then 6-0ing Maister at GF... that is not a small accomplishment, especially after being so completely defeated earlier. Maybe he didn't play every match perfectly, but it's still one of his best victories in a major tournament, if not the best. I hope that maybe people will understand he wins by his own merit after seeing him make such a hard comeback at Fb even after the Joker nerfs.

The sheer passion and emotion that Nairo is playing with is admirable. He wants it so bad. In the playercam, you can clearly see him say "fuck" multiple times. @@Elosuaify no it wasn't a tech and it always happens. When you dont tech at the very edge of a platform you slide off very slightly allowing you to input a jump or an aerial attack. However if you dont input anything you will be in a tech chase situation. Its a weird mechanic Edit: actually i just remembered that sometimes if you don't input anything you can still slide off without doing anything. Basically it comes down to your DI. Leo in this situation was DI'ing to the right because when you initially impact the platform you slightly bounce off the floor. Since he was moving right he slid off after the bounce and input a jump. If he DI'd left or didn't DI he wouldve been in a tech chase situation. Yeah i believe this is the proper explanation

Not really. Nairo made a lot of really poor errors. He needs to bring his game up

@@narsheguard6417 errors aside. I think nairo looks the most like he can go toe to toe with MKLeo consistantly. If he hadnt made a few catestrophic errors, he'd be lookin better than Samsora/Tweek for Rank 2. His leo stocks arent taken from jank, but some serious fundamentals. I could only imagine if he actually practiced Palu as much as Leo practices Joker, what the matchup would be like.
