His coal storage was at 12 hrs when the day ended, really not much to worry about as he's building the coal mine and when the day starts the gathering will keep the generator running.

You're the only youtuber that knows you can build over tents with bunkers. I hope you realize this applies for any other building thats an upgrade of something else. Like hunters hanger > hunters huts or Guard towers > watch towers

krakatoa is a real volcano. and the largest volcanic eruption in human history. the eruption was so violent. the island it was on BLEW UP. and everyone in a 100 mile radius DIED FROM THE SOUND ALONE. everyone in a 500 mile radius had a flat lung and went deaf or near deaf. and the noise was painful (krakatoa was a indonesian island) all the way in the northen edge of australia!

I like this playthrough. This guy is strategic. The only thing that bothers me about this playthrough is that he plays so friggin fast that he forgets things and misses things and misses events and such. Slow down a little and this would be a fairly flawless series.

I know, he's a smart man, but he needs to stop trying to Quadra-task, he was going to start building better houses, ended up tearing a hut down, building one up, forgetting the figthing pit and then moved on, i was like, what about the houses!!! But ye, i'm not saying i would do better it's just a bit frustrating sometimes from a bird eye view.

reasearch and build: 1. "outpost"(reaserch), and explore the cole spot a must provides 900 coal a day and you can take them with outpost team, 2.afther the cole spot explored send back you really need resources(do a coal tumper with 4 gathering posts) 3.afther that do storage buildings a loot, and the same time hunters with baloons 4 of those is a must,and 1 more cook house and reaserch even the 5 people hunters upgrade 4.reaserch for drills and build them( for those build the machines to work at those) 5.prioritize one steam core upgrade, one house insulation or house related

Love your videos Skye. There is a way to zoom in further. If you press ALT and F2 it will go into photo mode depanding on your graphics card, this will let you zoom in very close and see the details on everything. Use keys W,S zoom in & out A,D left & right, Z,X up & down. Enjoy.

What I learned is that this scenario is all about grabbing the automotons (or however it's spelled). You gotta get the Tesla outpost, and get them sweet sweet steamcores. I got up to about 90,000 coal - I had so many storage depots, and by the end of the storm, I was still sitting on like 78K. I just let the heating rain on everything. 4 infirmaries and 13 automotons. Steel was the only thing I got low on, but I had already researched everything at the end, so it was chill. finished with 676 people.

You know, there was something missing from KZbin that I really wanted to find, and Skye is it. Strategy games played competently while still being enjoyable to watch. Too many people doing blind runs and blundering about, not knowing what to do and causing me to shake my fist angrily at a monitor for their incompetence. Or, on the other hand, they're really good at it, but more boring than watching a piece of Duct Tape fall off a wall of its own volition. Keep it up Skye, and you'll keep getting my views and likes, lol.

Fantastic series! Awesome to have you playing so thoughtfully :). Totally recommend building a second Coal mine and researching Mine Optimization. You still have less than 24 hrs coal stored up. Probably worth getting 2nd scout team up with all those distant spots. Maybe a second steelworks. And some Flying Hunters :). Basically I'd double down so that when the stuff hits the fan, you're super well insulated. Then mischief.

I'd send home scouts first with resources and immediately build new scouts so they can explore the coal mine and set up an outpost there for coal, then work on upgrading homes and batten down the hatches....

Small tip, cram all your resource depots along the walls, that way they dont take up critical space for later :)

Man, very entertaining and all, just two points so far: when you make the Law of the Soup :D... it automatically switches to make soup portions. So, you have to go to the kitchen and switch it back to normal rations. Then, you don't need to put the warming up during the night, since the resource structures are not functional during the night. This is quite annoying, cause they could've made an option to automatically turn the warming up during the work hours...

Was *very* worried when your coal went into the single digits. You might want to get a second coal mine with one of the cores you have coming in. You really aren't gaining much per day. Also, you set your storage to raw food, not cooked food. :P Loving the game though!

the discontent bar is a kind of resources too ,you would like to put peaple on emergency shift to make the discontent bar half way full,because emergency shift give your a lot of additional resources ,since the discontent bar will drop continuly if you get figting arena near where peaple live ,so you don't need to worry about the discontent bar(If you didn't do anything that pist those peaple off seriously).
