@Xevion4 жыл бұрын
The point of focusing on "negative trashtalky kids" is to create a villain for the story. Every story has to have a villain, and while it's simply, someone who is 1) negative and 2) cocky makes an easy villain for the plot (although there are some alternative types of villains available, these two are just the most common). If you ask him to not focus on said people, you should give some reasons why. Focusing on them does not lower the quality of his content (although, focusing on such a steerotypical enemy is kind of the default atm, cough Welyn cough), so that's not really a reason. Excellent content comes from creating a compelling narrative, smart editing and good gameplay. I'd say Frost is well known for dominating in all 3 of those areas.

I still remember the days when I first awoken to the island. I was scared, terrified of everything and everyone. Fear instilled to every swing of the rock I made to the trees, each clink made by a node that summoned through the earth for harvesting- every click of a gunshot echoing in the distance made me jump. Even when I obtained a gun, fear always instilled no matter what was in front of that double barrel shotgun. . Though that was years ago. Seeing the sight of explosives being blossomed with the sight of yellow flames and black gunpowder became a normal. Gunshots are something you tune out by the 8th awakening to it. At this point, guns are the point of power, without range, you have little. But even with range, you still need the skill to use that range well before the other gets that cheeky shot... . There was a day I still remember of when the lands were once riddled with gunshots. Screams were rare and the sound of screeching was more common against the sands of our new Hapis. There was a small group I remember meeting during their recycle run. They were a small trio, but I was nice to them, and I guess they decided to toss some generosity back. They were chill, though something was definitely off about them, I joined their group and soon overheard something Miranda mentioned. "I wouldn't want to disturb the Broken Hand's expedition over to Power Plant".... Broken Hand? Obviously, I had to ask them what that meant. That's when I opened a new dimension of oddity. . This was an island that held players with extraordinary skills. Aim that was so honed they could hit 3 headshots from over a hundred meters with a SAR back-to-back, Reflexes that make cats seem slow, and production more than a dozen members of a clan could ever do in just a few minutes. Players around this island called them Fallen Gods, residents of the Island that had FULL control over a quarter of the most important landmarks in the area. Launch Site, Bandit Camp, AND the area went straight to a Large Oil Rig directly south of their place. It was a perfect zone for control. They only call them the Broken hand as they named them after their extreme work and dedication to be the top of the charts in this Island. A group named "Broken Hand" full of "Fallen Gods"... Sounds edgy, but I just rolled with it. After all, they already had a name, don't fix something that isn't broken, right? . Our adventure in the island is the same as usual, though this island had something different. People told that vehicles strew about on the islands they were on, and I never knew we would see one until today. Thought that maybe they were just tall tales made to give hope one day the machines laying dormant could roar once more. I was wrong... The engine had no parts, and I had no idea on what these vehicles needed to really work, aaaaand considering the engine was on fire nonstop, it was safe to think that they weren't a good idea to fiddle with immediately. . By this point I bidded the trio I met farewell and went on my day as a solo player. With a base near Train Yard, action was rare, but you get to meet some of the other folk that lives in the island when residing near these massive monuments of the past. Though on this recycle run, I had a pretty horrific encounter. An ear-deafening boom of a shotgun reverberated throughout the building I was in, ears ringing at the intense noise as I could hear the person's boots slam against dilapidated floors when my ears finally stopped their unavoidable ringing.. The next shot was much closer, and pierced through my side. The pain felt by the shell of their round felt like shards of molten glass scorched their way inside of my internals to force me on the floor; Not even thinking about it at first, the only gun I had, a small revolver I found in a box, dropped through one of the many holes in the floor, leaving me defenseless to this marauder. The person walked up to me, and I saw their small tag against the gun he Held... "Frost"? This assailant decided to speak, though his mouth was muffled by the mask he wore. . "Hello there," Frost said as he reloaded the shot in his handmade pump-action "Was that guy below you with you or are you alone?". He didn't seem too bloodthirsty as the usual resident on this Island... "Hey..." I nervously replied, wonder why this guy was being nice. "No, he wasn't with me- I'm a solo." "Listen man, that guy below me had a bit of stuff, and you seem pretty chill, so I'm gonna pick you up." Guess he wasn't a bad guy. He crammed a needle into my stomach and pushed down against the large red top to inject whatever was inside of those wonder-shots. But my wounds mended themselves up with the ejection of pellets out of their many holes that once riddled my right side, and I eventually had the strength to get up. Not going to lie to say that I thought I saw death for a moment, but he saved me from that untimely fate... That's when I heard something ever so softly in his helmet. "Frozen Gaze, we need you at V24- clan's going apeshit against Bradley- get over here" It was odd as well, it sounded somewhat like Frost, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it as it had this muffle... Like the static made against the voice on a radio level of muffle. Frost told me he's going on his day, and his group needs him for something... I told him to have a safe trip out there, and he did the same. . I would keep this going, but I already wrote a wall and a half, so if you want a continuation of this small story, let me know. Who knows, maybe Frost himself would be interested.

The scripted videos take place on a certain server, “cinematic” something, also his scripted videos have disclosures at the end showing a list of the actors, the most simple way to check which one of his videos are scripted, is to simply check the description of that video, many of his videos are in fact scripted, but this video in particular is not, hope that helps you or anyone reading this.

I personally don't care if the videos are scripted or not. If they are scripted it just better be good and have a plot narrative/goal that keeps me hooked. If it's not scripted and just normal content running its course that's fine with me too. I just seem to really enjoy Frost's videos regardless of either of those things, Rust videos are inherently interesting to me because of their unpredictability in each wipe/server that is played on.
