Frosty Bell Tent Camp!

Hello lovely people!!!
Goodness this camp feels like a long time ago and to be fair it was basically two months ago!
We'd just had that almost Indian summer then bang - freezing temperatures and such heavy icy showers it was crazy!!
I loved this camp and I know I didn't film much but hopefully you enjoy this little camp with a glamping twist!
Sadly I haven't been able to do any wild Dartmoor camps for a while as I have been struggling with my back but hopefully between Christmas and New Year I will get out for a solo camp! Keep your fingers crossed for me peeps as I miss it so much!
I hope you are all OK and I will see you again soon on my next camp!

🤗😁 Hiya the lovley Karen.. Out on our works Xmas Doo yesterday until around midnight in Manchester City centre so missed this at 7pm 😢 Looked like a cracking place to chillout for the weekend in the lush Bell tent 👍 But mostly wanted to say a huge thankyou for the hostess with the mostess for the community camp , it was an epic weekend with Awesome people and now friends and See you All again in 2024 👍😁👍 Wishing you Karen and your family a very merry Xmas 🍾🍷🍻 and a happy new year 😁😁😁🤗 much love LilMike xx

Disaster! I was hoping to take advantage of the decent weather this weekend and get one last camp in before Christmas. Wifey decided it wasn't going to happen - slipped on a wet pavement and broke her wrist. Ah well, spring isn't too far away. Another great vid, Karen - loving the beer reviews. Hi Karen, We bought one of those tents, Mr's B made me drive all the way back to Norfolk to take it back on account of no windows, expensive. You have obviously trained hubby into not snatching your beer. I sense reluctant shot of him. Sounds cold overnight, what you need is a teddy bear fleece (sore point) hope it gets resolved. I think that tent would be good in the wind, and a candidate for a wood burner. Cheers Graham

Heyy!! Yes I’m getting a refund thank goodness, eBay were brilliant to be fair! Bell tents are absolutely incredible in bad weather due to their shape, they’re just fantastic tents and will last a lifetime if they’re looked after! Thanks for watching lovely! 🥰🥰

Yes it must be a raging torrent at the moment!!! There was a better place further upstream actually but right next to where some guys were camping so I didn’t fancy it 😂🤣

Regarding the swimming, you could always fix a safety rope across the river (and dig out your baywatch costume 😂) I need to start wild swimming or quick dips, supposed to be good for mental health. Yes I won’t risk it as I’m not a great swimmer either. I’ve only had the Guinness here (which I do like occasionally!) but I’ve heard it tastes very different in Ireland. Hopefully one day I’ll get to try it!! 😍😍
