It is far from a nice beach break! Bonitas wave was at the beach when the swell was down. It was good then, when the swell was up though, it was a dumping shore break!! Where the ads surf is directly in front of a sharp reef that rose 2 metres from an earthquake back in 2011. It is intimadating from the water that is for sure!!

Another great episode with the bonus of Yoshi showing off his surfing skills. As a non-surfer, I was most impressed by him avoiding the other surfer at 11:32, clearly looking out for the safety of others while still having fun. PS My favorite food while sailing is Chicken Cacciatore, or Italian Hunter Style Chicken

Great video. I loved it when you said the Bondi boys. I was a U.S. Navy diver and spent lots of time in Australia. I surfed Bondi, Manley, and Bells. One time I flew into Sydney, rented a car and drove up to Brisbane, then drove back to Sydney. I surfed my way all the way down the gold coast. Most fun I have ever had. I have been looking at catamarans here in the states for when I retire. As soon as I find one, I am heading across the pond to surf Hawaii for a bit, then continuing on to the south pacific. I can barely contain the enthusiasm. BTW, when I was in Sydney the last time, NSW was playing Sydney in a rugby tournament back in 1992. I am guessing it was a big deal. Anyway, the game ball was kicked out into the crowd and I came up with it. Aussies didn't like the fact that a yank had the ball and a battle ensued over it. I still have the ball, and a nice scar from the stitches keeping it!!!! Best time in a foreign country ever!!!! Keep up the great vids.

I got this board as a step up for barrels, the tail is a bit wide and hard to throw around. Paddles well though when it gets bigger!
