In this episode, our beautiful little daughter Tallula Mae was born and we take her back to the apartment to learn how to be parents. Everybody tell's us that sleep will become a thing of the past and they are not wrong 😂 Whilst one long night sleep may be a thing of the past, our lives have changed for the better and our hearts are full of love as we take care of our little daughter. The days roll into nights and one month disappears before we know it. Tallula is growing and soon she will be ready for boat life!

With no sailing experience, we bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off from Australia sailing to the Pacific! We have since cruised through New Caledonia, Vanuatu, the Solomon islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and then onto the boat yard in Malaysia to prepare for the years to come. With a new engine, we continued onto Thailand, then back down into Indonesia and specifically West Sumatra to live the island life and chase the surf. With our Sailing plans changing, we returned to Thailand to wait for the weather and begin our journey to the northern route of the Indian Ocean to Sri Lanka before heading south across the Indian Ocean once cyclone season has finished and the trade winds begin! We were on our shake down sail when the mooring we were on failed and our home ended up on the reef... We saved the old girl and got her back to the boat yard for repairs to continue on our adventure! Ready to sail across the Indian Ocean, we were only days away from leaving when the pandemic begun closing countries around us... We are stuck for now, but enjoying the slower pace as we have just had our first baby, born in Malaysia! Now completing our second major refit, Nandji is ready for the world when the world is ready for us!!!
We departed the east coast of Australia in July 2017 and have since sailed over 10000nm offshore. We have explored some amazing countries and met some beautiful people along the way. We have experienced so many different and diverse cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our lives doing it! The adventure is just beginning as we sail West with the trades around the World!

Nothing more beautiful than a wee lil babe sleeping. Or waking up with her lil stretches an lil wake up yawn.... So sweet she is guy's!! I loved watching the time lapse of your days an nights!! I remember those days an nights.. or the one long daynight.. yeah feel ya!! Soon y'all will be sailing with the lil spud an Mars I just know it's gonna be great . Not easy but great.. set your boat up for single handed sailing. Cuz for the 1st year or 2 that's what it will be like. As Mummy has the wee one. It'll be Dad an Marley at the helm. Yosh, I mentioned it before, lucky is the man that has daughters, they are your pride and joy. Once she is between 3 and 6 months, she will sleep the whole night. The first 4 years are the hardest but once they hit 4 they are a complete blast. There is so much more that you can do and it just goes from there. They grow way too fast and soon it will be time for Nandji II a bigger boat!
