Honestly, the reason for slow growth is no face cam. Without one it becomes a niche genre. All the reaction channels, which this basically is have face cams. Look at review tech usa. Despite hardly ever actually reviewing tech anymore, once he went face cam his channel took off.
@fruit5003
@fruit5003 4 жыл бұрын
@@zebunker Growth may be slow, but that's definitely not a bad thing, since that means people who sub to him do that because they want to actually see the content. Therefore WolfePit has quite a bit bigger views/subsriber count ratio than most channels. I don't think facecam would fit these videos either, man has found his own niche audience and his voice has more than enough personality.

100% honest, my mouth watered when you pulled the plastic off the finished meal looking at the gravy on it and imagining the smell from my childhood of eating piles of these things. Salisbury Steaks have a rich history behind them. Especially during the 1950’s when frozen foods were popular. But they made their appearance in the 19th Century, most notably the American Civil War. It was easy to make, Cheap, tasty, and full of nutrients. Salisbury Steak has been pretty much the “Staple Steak of America.” it’s origins come from “Hamburg Steak”.

Exactly what bob said. They aren't slaughtering the cow and shredding the prime beef to make this. This is made of all the leftover trimmings from processing the prime cuts that would otherwise be thrown out. This includes the meat left over on bones when boning out meat, bits of meat trimmed off to clean up a cut to look more presentable, etc. This way, there is even less wastage.

The key to the potatoes is adding butter./country crock before you microwave it. Adding it to the corn can help in some occasions but not sure if it would have helped in this situation. I also dont remember this meal taking that long to microwave. Maybe try 3 minutes, take out and mix potatoes and corn, and microwave for another 2 minutes if needed. Might make the corn less hard.

I've eaten this exact meal MANY times growing up, and when living on my own. It's sorta one of those meals that you just need a fork for, and you don't need to think about how fake it really is. I know it's TVP is a main stay in a lot of "meat" meals, but whatever. I'd always end up licking the plate clean.

I ate banquet almost everyday in my early 20s, around 15 years ago, as it was such a good deal with near empty pockets. Now I am MUCH better off financially these days, but I'll still grab a Banquet meal once a year for the nostalgia. And to be honest, I think they still taste great! I know it's all PURE nostalgia, so I never recommend it, but it's my personal guilty pleasure. Chicken Fried Steak is my go-to option.

Ah man. I've eaten many of those. Pro tip. Make a sandwich out of it. Nuke the meal as directed. Toast a couple slices of bread. Salt and pepper the corn and potatoes and mix into the gravy and slather the toast with the potato/corn/gravy mix on both pieces of bread. Add the ''meat" and a slice of cheese. Throw away the dessert. Not bad when you are hungry!
