I have a yacht and its soooo nice when you warm inside and rocking around in bad weather in a marina. All safe and warm. I always sleep so well. I would love to have a nice warm fire on a boat like yours.

You really made me cringe when you went off the slipway at Conway, because when I was about 10 years years old I jumped off the same slipway and sank up to my waste in the mud, if it wasn't for the rapid response of a local chap in waders that managed to drag me out I am sure that I wouldn't be here today. And I never got the oppertunity to thank him. I am now 72 years old and still remember so clearly. Keep up the good streams, myself and my wife watch them every week without fail. Thank you both for so much entertainment, it is so much more entertaining than most other things that is so called entertaining. ( It is real life) thank you so much. We have watched you from day one and probably will until the end. Thank you both so much.

Arrrgh! You got to meet the pirate. A lovely person. Loved your last two post. Especially this last one. -17C early last morning warmed up to about -12C. This evening. A lovely glow in the north around to west just above the trees 11PM Northern lights. A great show of courage to keep going to high places to see the lovely view. Way to go, Emily! Highest point of Conway castle! Went up the Eiffel tower with my wife. I didn't know she is terrified of heights. I was running all over the place, one floor from the top, and there she was clutching for dear life on to a interior joist . Tears running down her face, so I escorted her down gave her a cup of tea to settle her nerves Back up I ran stayed about 1.5 hours, taking pictures, talking to other tourist, etc, etc, Loved it!

If you haven't already got one, I'd recommend getting a moisture meter for the foraged wood. Means you only burn the dry stuff and get more heat out of it. Trying to burn damp wood just means your steaming off all that moisture and its way less efficient and way more polluting. Its difficult on a boat leaving wood for a couple of years to season properly! The meters are cheap and their fun to use!

Amazing Castle I walk over to Conwy when at my Son's in Deganwy. He has a great view from his house! he lives by the Vardre with Deganwy Castle Ruin up there! The cake shop facing the chippy is a must! I had a lovely Coffee and Cake at Conwy Library just outside the Castle Walls.Been in the house very tiny lol.There is a fab walk around to the Marina.You could of parked near lidl and walked over fabulous views walking over the bridge.Father Xmas used to appear at the castle xmas eve I was there in 2019 with my family. I've stayed a number of times at Corwen down the road from llangollen Love watching you both.
