Hey Dan, just recieved my order thanks. When your rigging two flys like the stone fly or streammer and a orange crush or any beaded head nymph which would you tie on first?

Hey thanks for the order! I would fish streamers isolated right now. You can certainly use WBT stonefly and orange crush at the same time. For a majority of water I would tie the stone fly on first. And then have the orange crush behind the stone! Good luck out there

Greetings! I'm a bit older then you, and fish many of the same spots I've seen you fish, i.e., the Ausable, Catskill Creek, the Battenkill, etc. I live 10 minutes from the Kinderhook, in Nassau, wherabouts do fish out of? Hey, you're front and center for the Capital Region, lol. We're a real, busy club! Some great guys that are fairly very active on the fishing front. We do plenty of travel trips too: for June we're doing a trip to the Cape for stripers; a trip to NH for landlocked salmon/brook trout to the Lopstick Cabins/Lodge; Newfoundland for Atlantic Salmon in July '24, etc. I joined this past October, really because I've recently retired at 55 (I'm in pretty good shape, go to the gym 5 days a week, and do sprint triathlons, bike, etc.), and while I've been fly fishing for 40+ years, figured it might be time to fish with a buddy or so once in a while, though I've always been pretty solitary. We have a meeting on 19 April @ 7 if you want to come by and check it out you're very welcome. If not, no worries, maybe I'll see you out there sometime.

@@DownstreamDownrange yeah NY. There’s a few Wild Quality streams near me that are have signs saying “No fishing Dec.31-Mar.31.” Region 8 Ny DEC. No big deal though. It’s tradition for me to spend winter tying flies, organizing boxes, etc. Great way to beat below zero temps and snow. Oh and of course, while tying flies, also watching D&D videos on KZbin.🥶

Really nice intro with the aerial shots of that beautiful pristine creek. I think this is one of your best videos ever. Must’ve been very difficult and frustrating to get footage given those filming issues. But I think you did a great job given those setbacks!
