I said we rode round the reservoir. It didn’t happen my gears ⚙️ went funny again. It’s the pine needles jam the mechanisms. So we just rode back. No 3D map 🗺 in case anyone was wondering. There’ll be other times 👍

I loved them big chairs and on a nice warm summers night, great but not on a freezing night. You defiantly won the batter of the scoff, steak and mudrooms can never be beat! That beer must have been strong mind lol and man, it must have been bloody cold in the night mind, no wonder Mark did not sleep. Cannot argue with the sunrise, looked amazing, cheers Alan

Alan METALMAN - Outdoors cheers alan. Aye in summer all the midges of the world (except the Scottish clans) gather around kielder and they WILL eat you 😂 cracking spot like. But only in the cooler times. Love a bit steak 🥩 me. That stove cooks it perfectly now unlike my last one. So it’s always spot on. Beers strong but good in the cold. Just a nice camp. Thanks for watching mate atb

Epic as everytime sir,you always get me fired up to try the bike camping,and you are so right about having a rated sleep system and just the correct clothing and equipment can actualy become a critical issue,however i wont get hung up on that only to say you ace your game and entertain,see you on the next one🤘 cheers

Hooooooofff that looks cold, but what a lovely spot! I actually liked those chairs as outdoorsy art installations. Didn't mind them. Cheers mate , so good to see you keep heading out there :D Nothing but rain since mid December here, all day every day.
@AndyWardle4 жыл бұрын
The Wandering Falcon freezing but well prepared for it so it’s always fun. I don’t mind the cold. It’s the rain and wind and midges 😂 there’s loads of weird installations around kielder. People have nowt better to do. 😆 Cheers for watching mate atb

The bikes are great for covering the distance like, enables you to carry more kit too. Lovely place for a camp, there are some cracking installations around the shoreline of Kielder, the chairs being the best we think. See Mark's got plans for Deadwater Fell, good pull up there on a pushiron! Don't come back doon the Mtb black route tho...could be fatal with all that kit...Grand watch and we promise not to judge ya's....! ATB R&D :):)

garn fora ratch nooo we will be walking up to deadwater like. Bikes are ok but not always. When you ride round the shore you pass all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff. It’s a cracking place. Hi Andy, looks a great location, never been to Kielder, but remember it from when the RAC rally used to go through it years ago. You,ve had it colder than us with all that frost, just been mild and wet down in Sheffield. Great photos, that sky looks so clear, all the best Pat
@AndyWardle4 жыл бұрын
Patrick Dickinson Hi Pat. Yeah they still have rally’s up there. Not big name ones though. The frost and cold has been short lived it’s positively tropical 🏝 now. Great sky at kielder but you have to catch it. Cheers for watching atb to you. 👍

Looked cracking, might have to give that a go at some point. Was up Windy Gyle last week on a quick Friday camp, following one of your routes I think. According to the forecast was 0C and 15 gusting 30mph taking it to -5C. I reckon windier and colder but can't prove it. Good sleep pad makes all the difference, I bought an xtherm after using a numo at Ros Castle over Xmas and pretty much freezing my chap off.

Hello Andy and good video. I wild camped on that grass peninsular next to the chairs last year and it was fine. The part you camped on was very Stoney. I thought they would have given it a better top layer by now, saying they are advertising it as a wild camping spot. Thanks Steve.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Kielder Water & Forest Park is now closed to the visiting public. In real is most safestplace in everywhere forrest not supermarket. In Great Britan everything what you not pay for it is illegal. No responsible open fire no matter you are in the very wet place or on the middle lake, no wild camping, no open tarp or tent, everything around is private, what is not private is national treasure. Why? Because you sold in private hands to much land! No pedals cycle, everyone who spoted you now on wild camp in Kiedler or open fire MUST call for police! Im feeling like living in prison! No trust for other people, special locals ciuchters because they are looking for you like for Adolph Hitler, you are comming there to steal all woods, red scroll's who is very dangerous for any birds and eggs, they are more important from humans who want teach kids how to survival in forrest. Your only one role is going to work, spend money in markets, pays bills and taxes then go to public forget about yours poor existances. SHAME. No free man in UK.
