I'd go with the standard unit and upgrade the gimbles down the road. The standard gimbles, like you said, are really good.

But when you do that, the price doesn't make sense. The non-graded model with parts upgraded to be equivalent makes the standard model more expensive.

I like my X9 lite. Small, simple, light. Flashed with OpenTX for D16 protocol and ready to go. Guess overall this new S version worth extra $50. Better gimbals (at least it should be), charging board, extra switches (which I never gonna use). I hope blue color I'd not just plain plastic but nice paint or aquaprint. Is it??? I never heard anyone using Bluetooth trainer.

i have Li-ion 18650 3000mAh 3.7v batteries (flat top) from the vape store. would those work for batteries or are there special batteries?

It's a great radio. It's not the easiest to bind to the tinyhawk but it can be done. If you plan to fly micros I do highly recommend getting the xjt lite module for it as it make binding to d8 mode quads possible.

Hello maybe you can help me urgently. I bought an x9 lite remote control but can't use it on the liftoff for the simulation course. I manage to calibrate it but when playing it tells me that the throttle is not activated, I cannot know where and how it is activated

Ok, no mods are required. Only the Older accst qx7 needs an inverter mod done

If you can find one that fits sure but your probably better off using 18650 lion batteries.

@@GaragemDoChines I would look at more like 3000mah. Typically as the capacity goes up the output current goes down. I beleave the 3500mah are only rated at 6a which should be enough but if you eventually run a r9 lite pro you might run into a bottle neck.

If you have an older radio I would stick with accst for sure. But the new access does bring some bennifits to the table. Biggest one for me is over the air updating.

You no need to switch. Flash it with OpenTX, get D16 and enjoy.
