Didn't Hvorostovskiy and Fleming both sing in a version of Eugene Onegin together? I think it's on DVD.

Yes, but I think he's referring to the film about St.Petersburg which has just been shown on Mezzo TV.

My Spanis is not so good to understand Internet shorcuts, but are you saying that you can't see the subtitles? Just wave over the little upwards arrow in the bottom right corner and click "CC" - "Closed Captions".

I can´t slep too dear "J" - I "felt" he is still somehow distressed, but looks fine and certainly will recover. We are always stubborn optimistics, remember ? YF Lu

Yes, he is.

I gathered that much from the fact that he was using the future tense.

Really? Yes, you're right, EA's wrong. Female version is -ovna or -evna, e.g. Anna Yuryevna Netrebko, Irina Konstantinovna Arkhipova, Elena Vasiliyevna Obraztsova etc. It should have been Fedorovna (or, better, as far as the pronunciation is concerned, Fyodorovna, as it's acutally Фёдор - Fyodor, not Федор, which would be "Fyedor").

Ну и что что Крутой не Дунаевский!?!? Зачем сопоставлять!!!!! Дунаевский -- это 20 век, а Крутой сейчас в данном проекте -- это 21 век!! и это здорово!!!

Cheers. I always though "ovich" at the end of a name was like the Icelandic "sson," as in Eriksson, as in "son of Eric," but there's a female character in C&C Red Alert 3 named Fedorovich. Is that bad Russian on EA's part, or have I made the wrong assumption? BTW, there's something about the Russian language that sounds really good.
