That looks very good and easy. Also versatile. This reminds me of a pork dish a friend told me to make. Boneless pork( the cheaper sirloin cut), cream of mushroom soup over the top, and then stove top stuffing made to directions on the top. Then baked in the oven. It's really good. I have a chicken I need to pick off the bone so may try this in a few days. Today is cool and windy here so I decided to make a quiche and some french onion soup to warm up. I've never made the soup before so I'm not to sure about caramelizing the onions. It's going now so time will tell.

Tessie loving u 2x a day. I have roast in crockpot today with carrots taters celery onions. Youd be proud i ove canned butter with the hubby. We had our freezer go wonky so we needed to shuffle food and now we will preserve butter by canning to save freexer room

Never thought of putting something like this together! Before I retired I only used raw meat in the Crock Pot, since it would have to cook all day while I was gone. I made up a batch of "bone broth" a few days ago, so I have plenty of frozen chicken. Thanks so much Tessie! ;-)

Tessie it been raining so much I cant seem to get motivated to much of anything. Even your chickens look down. I finally may see the sun later in the day. Good crock pot meal nice comfort food to have on such a rainy gloomy day. Looks fabulous I love chicken meals like that. I would add carrots to mine as well as the green beans. It's a perfect meal anytime. Tessie I hope you enjoy what I sent you. Today I'm going to the Salvation Army thrift store to donate more stuff I'm clearing out the house albeit slowly but surely. Oh Tessie, I had to laugh so hard. When you mentioned chicken for dinner, that one yellow hen would not take her eyes off you. Like she was giving you a stare down. So funny. Great meal today. Good Morning Tessie and friends, Well it's another day and it looks like it finally clearing up and I get to see the sun after three days of steady rain. I'm going to get out and enjoy the day while I can it may not last for long. It's a wonderful day in Tessie Land it's always a wonderful day in Tessie Land " Where Friends Are Made ". Today I'm taking my mom to the dentist for a three hour long procedure to make a permanent bridge. Please keep her in prayer that the procedure goes smoothly. After I drop mom off I am off to the Salvation Army thrift store to drop off a whole bunch of stuff. I am slowly clearing out the house of things that have been sitting around collecting dust. Next week I have my sister and brother coming to spend a week with us and I need to get busy cleaning the house and straightening up the house and get ready for them. I make a casserole very much like this. It is so good with such simple ingredients! I do add chicken broth to mine. I have been making this for 35 years! I know this because when I had my son my friend made this for me after I came home from the hospital. It’s always a hit!

I usually use two boxes of stuffing mix and 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and two cups of broth. I layer it, putting one mix on the bottom then soup, chicken, another stuffing mix and then pour the broth over everything. We love it. I usually bake it in the oven though.

Am I first? Good - I know - no sun oven - have had a lot of cloudy and rainy days lately! We had a bad year for growing last year too and I was surprised that many of the small farmers gave up on some crops. A few things came through, but many got drowned. I did pretty good until the tomato and squash worms showed up. Any suggestions accepted on keeping the worms away. I planted lemon grass near some of the things this year and I know that cayenne pepper is good next to tomatoes to keep the things off of them. Gardening is never routine, always exciting though. That chicken dish looked good - wonder if you could use mushrooms instead of the chicken? Where is everybody?

The weather is behaving very strange, but it is the fault of us humans. Here in Chile it is crazy, in the middle of the country the drought is very very bad, and in the south the amount of rain has been terrible, awful flodding. In the south the glaciers are melting, the Antartica is breaking pieces.... it is the global warming, and the world id being silent about it. Beans, Chicken and a crockpot, I'm all ears and my chin is getting wet :P Due this recipe I was wondering if I could simplify the Roti recipe even more. I know the people from Surinam would hang me for that, but the original recipe isn't exactly frugal for people in the USA. Overhere (due our colonial history) some stuff is easy to obtain without the use of Amazon. But I believe I can do the trick :) It would be something like this. Put the chicken and some chopped onion in a pan with some oil, add some garlic powder, salt, pepper, curry powder, chrushed chicken broth tablets and tomato paste to it. If the onions are translucent, add some water to it, and put some peeled and cubed potatoes and beans to it. Let it simmer until it's done, and for the final touch forget the eggs and 'roti pancakes' and give it an all American touch by serving it with Cornbread :)

I make the stuffing a bit on the dry side, then I pound out breasts, stuff them and roll up. I pour cream of mushroom soup over and cook less than an hour. Very hearty. Gee Tess, you didn't kill one of your "girls" outside, did you??? Aghhhhh!
