This is a wonderful video, Andrea! I loved all of the content, but I especially loved the music you chose for this video! I'm older now and still make wreaths, and I love what you have done with the dried hydrangea blossoms I love the simple bow draping. It brings a sense of peace in its simplicity. Lovely and elegant

When I had a dated front door, I bought a garland of fall leaves, cut it apart into various long lengths and made my own hanging to cover up the door more than a wreath would.
@alisonsmith7162Ай бұрын
Hi from Australia Andrea. Garlands can be useful if you pull them apart and use brown or green florist's tape to attach them to florist's wire or twigs. Then they can be interspersed in wreaths with other foliage or florals. Flower stems can be pulled apart too. Makes them go further. I very much appreciate that you don't buy stacks of stuff, even though you could probably write it all off as a tax deduction for your youtube channel. It is much more of a helpful example for the rest of us who can't.

If you like to dry your own flowers, autumn joy sedum ( my grandma called them live forevers) it is a pretty mounding plant that is so easy to grow, and in late summer/early fall they grow a flower, it is purple flower, but you can cut them, they have fairly long stems, hang upside down and they go dark purple to rust when fully dried... I add many of them to my home decor over fall and winter... I think it is a member of the Yarrow family, butterflies and hummingbirds like them, too

I appreciated that you didn't buy hundreds of dollars of new things. It is fun to buy new things but most people can't go out and buy so much each new season. Hello, enjoyed your video. I love all the Fall decor it’s beautiful, Fall is my fav, by far. I’m a Fall baby my bday yesterday. I just visited Macinac Island with my daughter over Labor Day. It was my first time there and first time in Michigan. It’s beautiful. I’m jealous of your green yard too, I live in Ohio, we are in a drought all Summer, my yard is horrible. It’s burnt up and brown. I didn’t hear mowers in our neighborhood all Summer, very strange. Take care, hope to see you soon, and I love your hair with the waves, very pretty.

Love your second wreath on your front door looks beautiful . I started decorating last week just adding a little at a time but here on the southern Maine coast we are in the 70s during the day and last night the 40s ! So today I added my throws on the couches and went out to pick wheat to bundle and gathered up pine ones and acorns . I do like the Neutrals but then I Add a pop of rich color. By November it will be drab and colorless outside so I want to enjoy while we can. Loved the pumpkin you bought it does look so real. Your home looks just so warm and inviting. Have your children ever made a scarecrow? So fun to make and so easy. I have great childhood memories of making them with all the kids in our neighborhood stuffing them with leaves. Love this time of year so much. Enjoy and have a beautiful blessed day 🙏🕊💕🌻🍄🍁🌾🍂 22:31

I love the wreaths that you made! I agree with several others.....hydrangea wreath on the door by your stairs and the silk flower wreath on the front door! Both of them turned out so well! I'm not 100% sure but I think the "unknown stems" from Hobby Lobby may be eucalyptus berries. Before I looked for eucalyptus berries online, I thought that's what they were and then images seem to indicate that may correct!
