After my husband passed away, I beaded a stuffed turkey (bought the pattern from WalMart). It took me 8 years!!! It was great therapy.....over a million tiny seed beads!! My daughter asked me to bead one for her. I told her I dont love her that much. Lol. But I did leave it to her in my will. I have been offered $800 for it!! That is the one diy project that I am most proud of!! I love your turkey centerpiece!

Hello Andrea, Loved, loved, loved todays video. I want to share a recipe I received from a farmer earlier this fall. The recipe is for green beans but I tried it with asparagus and it was delicious. So... you steam your bean or asparagus; you cool it. Then season it with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Now add olive oil and lemon juice. Refrigerate it and serve it as a side dish. Wow, and I don't fancy asparagus myself, but this way... wax beans, green beans and even asparagus are now a favorite. Hope you make it and let me know. I'm glad I met this farmer.

Hi Andrea! I love how the turkey turned out.. so pretty! Rub & buff, antiquing wax & mod podge are 3 products i try to always keep on hand, you can do so much with these products to thrifted or decor you already have to transform it into a whole new piece! The table centerpiece/tablescape is beautiful, the green really was the perfect addition! I love asparagus roasted in the oven, the while family does. I use olive oil, pepper, sea salt & sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese from the canister. Sometimes if I have them on hand, I'll slice cherry tomatoes in half and lady on top, then add the Parmesan cheese, its so delicious! The lasagna looked yummy😋 and the bread turned out so pretty! Like magazine worthy honestly! I know it was delicious as well!😊 I've never eaten risotto that can remember, but it looked really yummy & I'm sure it was! Thanks for sharing with us! I pray you have a blessed weekend!🙏🏻

Loved the Turkey like it was but it was beautiful with the gold and rub and buff too. The bread was also beautiful and would have made a nice centerpiece also. Making it look like a pumpkin was very creative. Good to know that cottage cheese works with lasagna because back when toulet paper was hard to find, so was Ricotti cheese for making lasagna. Nice video!

Beautiful turkey DIY! I learned that adding a teaspoon or so of baking soda right at the end (last 5 or so minutes) to the tomato sauce helps take that sharp acidity out of the it and gives a hint of sweetness!
