I eat a ton of hummus and make it in my food processor, the trick is to let your food processor run for about 4 min it makes the most creamy tasting , I add different spices ect and it costs about $1.50 to make about 4 cups .

Great products. I don't shop at the box stores. Items are so big. Only 2 of us. I am flabbergasted you feed your family for $185. I need to look at our budget

I'm here in the DC area. I cannot fathom spending so little for 6 people! I need to re-evaluate too. No bakery outlets nearby. Wow.

I came to watch one of your older videos because I've seen most if not all of the ones from the past 3 or so years, but I was shocked by these egg prices! $7 for 120 eggs! Like 2023 prices be cray cray! 😂

You shop Kroger the same way I do!! Walk the perimeter looking for woohoo stickers! I've got my kids trained to help spot the stickers!

Also when you go to Kroger early in the morning there are tons of woohoo stickers and sometimes great clearance items. I've found amazing deals on products I always use in their clearance section!

I went to Kroger’s last night and they had 5 clearance bread/donuts, a few bags fo old potato’s and grapefruit, and 1 thing in the produce section with a clearance sticker and it was a little drink 😞 maybe 9pm is not a good time to go to the grocery store

Damn: Groceries down there are so CHEAP compared to Vancouver (Canada). Compare that 1 dozen free range eggs run about $5-$7, a 4L (1 gallon) jug of milk is $4.59 and 1 loaf of similar wheat bread is usually $4.49 😩

You are amazing!!! Such a great video tutorial! And I love that it's applicable to MY LIFE because I live in Idaho TOO!!! So a couple of questions I hope you will answer for me: 1. Does Smith's have a certain day of the week that is better to shop all the managers deals? I LOVE those BTW. I scored some cheap steak kabobs one time and I still crave them. I'm just interested to know if there is a certain day of the week I should try to hit Smith's. 2. How do you store/keep your fresh fruits/veggies fresh for a month? Or keep your kids from eating your "month's worth" in a week? My kids are gaga for berries and would eat those in blackberries in 3 days if I let them. But I feel like the blackberries would not be so good after the first week or two. And how would you keep yourself from buying other things at the store when you go back to buy banana?! 3. Grocery shopping one time for the month would be a nice time saver in principle, but I've had a hard time with even two weeks at a time because I find I sometimes change my mind on what sounds good to make for the week or two. PLUS, I LOVE grocery shopping and feel like I would go through withdraws. Kind of like you talked about in your january no shopping video. Do you miss grocery shopping through the month? How do you stay away? What are your tips for sticking to just one grocery trip for the month? 4. Do you know if Albertson's does that often with the coupon in front of the product? THAT IS AMAZING THAT YOU GOT THAT GROUND TURKEY FOR SO CHEAP!!!!! So jealous right now....I'm tempted to go to Albertson's tomorrow to see if I can still score such a deal.

1. I've never found a certain day to be better than others at Smiths. It's just whatever happens to be there that day. 2. We eat them in the order they go bad. Berries get eaten first. Then bananas, then apples, then oranges. Plus, I have a lot of frozen fruit and canned fruit to get us by at the end of the month. 3. I do go back for milk and more bananas, but I usually make a list of meals to make and go in whatever order sounds good. Whenever I get the shopping itch, I'll start planning the next month! 4. My Albertsons does those stickers all the time. I buy almost all my meat at Albertsons because of that. about 9am is a great time to go. Good luck!

I miss Safeway! It was a Tom Thumb in Texas and they were great. In fact, I miss Aldi, Sprouts, and Costco also. HEB too. Texas had the best stores. :)

I usually only find them cheaper than that at a produce clearance at Kroger or at Winco. Oh, I know Texas has sprouts, they might have it cheaper also!
