Very professional paint job on the garden furniture Jane! Fiddly job with all those ins and outs. I wrap beetroot in baking paper and cook it in the slow cooker, but I have to remember to do it in advance. We grow it at the jardin solidaire, so it's free for volunteering, but the people at the food banks we supply don't care for it much, some say they were put off it in school lunches, or that it takes too long to cook and isn't worth the price of the energy. French don't seem to know about slow cookers, though I have seen them at Lidl here.

@bria2596Ай бұрын
Wow, what a nice way to start off the video with that very beautiful blue yellow white quilt! Thanks! * My thoughts on the patio set - I know people who have managed to keep their metal patio sets going for more than 20 years! I think a fairly soft round wire brush that fits on a cordless drill lightly used on the furniture, followed by a very good washing and dry to remove all of the dust, followed by a primer that is for bare metal (like for cars) would make your final job not only look great, but last several years (so you wouldn't be doing it every year). Cleaning and polishing the set with car wax, will greatly extend the life of your hard work in painting the set. I think it is charming and if it is comfortable, that would be the most important thing to me! Thanks for sharing. I am actually doing my patio set, so that is where those suggestions are coming from. Best wishes!

I was waiting for the garden furnitures transformation. I love it. Looks amazing now. Why do you say another year of using it or something similar? They look like they can last many more. The dogs watching the cyclists 🤭 But the last seconds with them front of the window were cute and cozy. Like living plush toys. Adorable. I'd like to get solars myself. A piece of advice is to retire early, like Mike and Jane did. That way, you will still have the stamina and drive to put in the effort to make your dream home come true. I didn't retire until my mid 60s and had health issues by then. So stalled out after a few years of redoing the old family homestead. I still live here but a lot of my big dream redos have faded. My front porch needs sanding down and repainted and my lawn furniture is a bit rusty. 😢 It will take me weeks just to do these two projects! But I still do what I can for myself to save money. I just do it v-e-r-y slowly!😂
