We are at Verbo Beach, Florida visiting CD Farms. Derrick shows us around CB Farms. He has hundreds of Mango Trees and a bunch of other fruit trees like Jackfruit, Akee, Star Fruit, Star Apple, and Avocado plus many more. The Farm is for sale.
You can contact the real estate agent to find out about the listing at
Steven Owen 772-473-0828
Before you call just know the price is about $50,000 per acre and it's a good size farm so unless you can afford it please don't call the real estate agent.
You can contact CB Farms at
772-564-1755 or email cbfarms19@gmail.com
If you have a yard and you are growing fruit trees I'd love to come and film, especially if you are in the South Florida area. You can contact me at paul@rawlife.com please include the area you are in.

3 rootstock in one scion graft is the strongest for hurricanes. Please don’t separate those 3 seedlings in one pot. Research how to graft 3 rootstocks in one scion is the best for Florida hurricanes 🌀.

Yea... cause 3 rootstocks to grow and merge... then select one final lovely stem ... graft onto that single stock/stem. The 3 rootstocks placed at LEAST 2 ft apart can withstand a category 5

🍏🍎🍐🍊 it might seem nice but it’s not exactly how you want it The ground that is grass is not edible the entire ground should be planted in something that you can eat also so you are being able to be fed all year with diverse amounts of food around you everywhere that’s how I do it. I do not grow grass at all And I have thousands of fruit trees that I am taking care of in my nursery They sell grass killer it makes it easier for your broadleaf plants to grow Especially if you want more pollinators for bees, you can’t expect the bees to just be able to eat the blossoms from the fruit and then starve the rest of the year Try to grow your food from the seeds that are inside of it do your best to support and to protect nature God is in everything😊

I’m pretty sure the ONLY way to grow oranges isn’t to use poison.
@derrickclunis4082
@derrickclunis4082 10 ай бұрын
I was just generalizing as of course you can go ‘organic’. But the leaf miners are in the substance of the leaf and are not accessible to contact organic insecticides like Neem. They deform the leaf and prevent adequate photosynthesis. You can spray weekly to keep the adult bugs from getting their egg to infest the tree but that’s so much work.

Sadly, due to our(man’s) agriculture practices we have encouraged the development of diseases that are frustrating the production of our food. Planting thousands of acres of oranges in one location has caused the ‘citrus canker’ and now ‘citrus greening’ to develop.
@msdramamusic
@msdramamusic 10 ай бұрын
@@EricPollarrdcitrus should be grown in the shade as an under story tree preferably under oak trees this stops the greening and pest damage but modern agriculture doesn't do that.

@@derrickclunis4082you spray after fruiting season with oils for leaf miner also I’ve never seen a citrus not produce tons of fruit because of leaf miner they only make the leaves look bad other then that a healthy citrus tree will grow just fine

I think we are going to see more land like this for sale unfortunately due to higher taxes and insurance costs. We live on 5 acres the southwest coast , took a direct hit from Ian we lost some fruit trees because of it. Since the hurricane and due to a large influx of people to our area we now pay twice the amount we paid in land taxes even with our homestead exemption and our bee exemption....insurance costs have more doubled.

Hello, I'm the listing agent for this property and due to the agriculture tax break for this 17ac property the taxes are only $429 for 2023. Without the AG tax break the taxes would be higher but the fruit trees on the property provide the AG tax eligibility. Hope this helps.
