Jackfruit is awesome. We have a small older tree in the backyard here with over 30 fruits on it at present. They are smallish trees that are just so productive. Really great to have in the yard.

Wish I would have caught this live. At the game watching my team get smashed on Sunday night. 😢 Had a question on grafting Mamey. Started some seedlings this summer from seed. How big/old do they need to be before they can be grafted? Great info as always!
@TropicalAcresFarms2 сағат бұрын
Mamey stocks are usually graft able within 6 months or so of planting the seed.

I converted my barren lands into mango garden and now small shade farms under it with help of government. My school teacher told me about this scheme of government where they'll provide me with fencing, labour cost, and big saplings and organic fertilizers. My parents are more than happy.

You need to go to fruit and spice park and try the Semil 55 avocado. It is hands down the best avocado in Florida. For some reason no nursery has any for sale. I really think it should be propagated and sold.
@Tropicplant2 күн бұрын
I forgot to add that this variety is ready in December-Jan based on what I saw at fruit and spice park.

Can you give us a description of this avocado? We know where to get budwood if we want to propagate it! Is it plainly labeled?

@@johnbanach3875 The comments are still not showing up for me. Anyways, in short; the tree is labeled and you should be able to find it easily in the avocado area of the park.
